Problem: Weapons with a single high base damage type scale better with mods since mods are percentage based. Weapons with multiple average base damage types scale worse with mods since mods are percentage based. Solution: Introduce 2 new weapon mods: 1.) "Second Class" - Improves the damage of secondary damage type by 30% per rank (Max Rank 5) 2.) Zagrax Posted December 2, 2013 Share Posted December 2, 2013 Or just make the mods scale off the entire base damage of the weapon..so if you do 80 slash, 10 puncture, 10 impact, and you add a mod that gives 50 percent more impact, the impact damage will go to 60.
