The problem is scaling. 99% damage reduction means your 2000 damage gun is only going to scratch the enemy for 20 damage, not to mention that health scales as well.

Indeed. I suppose I may have shot myself in the foot with the bombastic title and 'out there' armor replacement suggestion.

But bombast is a way of life for me, and I honestly do not believe DE is capable of NOT scaling EVERY SINGLE ENEMY STAT with enemy level, so I suggested something that wouldn't be broken by scaling.

I prefer your method really, but I think DE is reluctant to let go of that system for some reason. I like seeing big numbers when I shoot things
