Kogake Wall Damage - 2200?!

So title says it all, I was looking at my kogake and it said the damage when running along the wall is 2200... that doesn't seem right does it? Also has the kogake always had some a high crit rate?

I think all fist weapons have a really high wall run damage

And thus why the wall run damage is so high. It's very hard to connect, but feels damn good when you do.

The 2200 damage is correct, but it's hard to pull of, the way you do the attack is be wall running, and press melee while you are doing it, most of the time it's very situational and hard to make contact. The Obex has this too. Both are 1000 base damage for wall run attacks.

Valkyr is considered to be wall running when on her Ripline.

a. The move is freakin' called the "Superman Punch"!

 

b. Try landing it on something. Nigh-impossible.

 

In short, the damage is fine.

Not if you're playing Valkyr and can get consistent wallrun attacks because of Ripline. This is one of the underappreciated parts of that frame and it's not well-known outside of the small group of players who actually use her (because most derps think she's "bad" and don't pay attention or even know that you can land multiple wall-run attacks in a single Ripline cast).

I use Obex exclusively with Valkyr, ripline and superwoman paunch their faces.
