Cru5h
Oh hi I know, this problem was mentioned like billion times, but nothing i saw helped me, so i hope to find some brand new divine solution. By some strange reason i can't toggle PhysX option in menu to "on" or "off" - it's just grayed out without any tips or explanations why. Right now i'm using ASUS Geforce 8800 gts 512 - it does support PhysX and Directx 9-10. Directx 11 is turned off in settings menu (and i can't turn it on) I've clean-installed (with reboot) latest stable nidia drivers and latest beta drivers - no result. I've clean-instaled 320.18 nvidia driver (ppl were saying it'll help) - no result. I've instaled PhysX System Sofware 9.13 - no bloody result. I was trying to set PhysX settings in nvidia control panel both for my videocard or autoselect - no result. After all these manipulations i reinstaled game but still no result. Halp Edit: added PC specs: Geforce 8800 GTS 512 Intel Core2Duo E7600 3.06 Ghz 4 GB DDR3 Edited January 5, 2014 by Cru5h

Runabou
Nvidia, do you use it? Serious question. No Nvidia means no PhysX.
Cru5h
Nvidia, do you use it? Serious question. No Nvidia means no PhysX. I've mentioned that in original post (couple of times, like 5 or 6) - yes, i do use nvidia videocard.
MusiXGhost
The 8800 GTS is an old card. They probably stopped updating its drivers though i don't know for sure. You can only turn physx on if you have the latest version installed. (provided via new graphics drivers from nvidia) Since the 8800 is an older card it probably has an older driver and older physx. Try downloading and installing this http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx-9.13.0725-driver.html it's the latest physx version direct from nvidia's website. if you still can't turn physx on in warframe then i'm not sure what else to do. Ritchel
my old gt560 supports physx, i think the update 3.15 is needed and you should enable it in nvidia controlpanel
RoboDoge
Isnt 1 GB of card RAM need to turn those Physx on?
Cru5h
Isnt 1 GB of card RAM need to turn those Physx on?For DirectX 11 - yes.For Directx 9-10 - nope, 512 is enough. And i've already said i'm not even aiming for dx11, my card does not support it. Edited January 8, 2014 by Cru5h
Zogrim
By some strange reason i can't toggle PhysX option in menu to "on" or "off" - it's just grayed out without any tips or explanations why. I think your GPU, which is rather old model, is an issue here. Quickly reading through APEX (PhysX) release notes - some calculations in recent versions are "no longer supported on pre-Fermi hardware", maybe that affects Turbulence as well.
