mattklanks
You're at like update 11 now. trying to add content in the same manner as an MMO every major patch without ever actually fixing any bugs or major performance problems. The store seems to work just fine, just about the only thing that does, is this just a marketing ploy to excuse the performance problems in a long term way without ever addressing them while basically making money off an unfinished game? It's a little disappointing.
se05239
This game is honestly not a Beta anymore. At least not in my opinion. People still insist on using "Still beta" as response to any negative feedback but its not a valid response anymore.
Brahmastra
IMO the PC version is the "beta" or the "test version" PS4 version looks more like a game with frequent updates too me.
mattklanks
I mean, it's come to the point where it's just laughable that they can even imply it's something with my hardware at this point. Have they done any actual dedicated testing to the constant crashed and sound loops that just about every other thread is about?
Lazer
Yes to both questions.
S3ven0F13
and people used to be paid to beta test. the closest we get to it in forma/blue or gold potato in alerts after livestreams. think about that for a second....If it wasent for the constant quick-fixes and charming livestreams to distract us, it might start to feel like we are being taken advantage of....food for thought. magusat999
You can't call something "beta" and charge people - beta means it hasn't been released to sale yet. Yet there are many game companies using the word "beta" which as implied above is nothing more than a protective term, so they can excuse away all of the issues the game has - while at the same time charging it's Beta testers money (not to mention getting free ideas from them). Runabou
I believe DE should take steps and add more than just weapons and reworking certain issues. More systems, more factions, more to do. Not really hard to come up with IMHO.
ErickJatobA
This game still in beta, there a plenty of bugs and crash reports in randoms hardware configurations. I think the beta part of the game will go when they optimize the evolution engine to run smooth in any hardware.

YAAAATZY
Well they are saying that this is a free game, so why even call it a beta when the game has been in open beta for almost a year now. But on the other hand wouldn't call this a game that is worth releasing yet since it's full of bugs. And as you say rather than adding new content they should try to fix their current problems before adding more which has the potential to make the game more unstable than it is.I have been playing Warframe on both a mid end and high end computer and there doesn't really seem to be much difference. Still experiencing some of the same bugs which lowers performance. So I think this game is far from reaching stability and "release" in it's current state. This is actually false. There is nothing to prevent the charging of money to beta players. It is considered extremely bad form if what they pay for disappears on "release", however, DE has stated that we are not reset on release. Therefore, we don't lose money. Though really, if you're paying money into a beta game that doesn't guarantee you'll keep what you earn at release, it's your own damned fault.
