On a related note it sucks and havent found any situation where torid is A. Necessary or B. Effective. ODD with piles of enemies in vortex etc...just not worth the time, would be better off with a Braton....

nothing is Armor Ignoring in Warframe. so, no.

 

you can stack the clouds as much as you want. 

 

while it's Damage Output is fine(in a Defensive sense), the Status Chance of the clouds is rather low, yet it would kind've need to be high to live up to what the weapon is for.

Torid does toxin damage, depending on units, it deals bonus, unaffected or less damage. Refer to the Codex or the Wikia to know who is vulnerable (or not). 

 

The poison clouds stacks, and can proc toxin DOTs as well, and all that stacks together. However Torid's damage comes from direct hits nowadays, as the cloud and toxin DOT are lackluster. It doesn't seem like it, but Torid actually packs a punch on impact. 

 

The clouds are really just icing on the cake, as far as Torid's damage is concerned.
