Vecasra
I've tested Ogris this morning and its seems a little different compare to the in game Codex. Here's some data and calculations. ---- Test #1 Testing target: Rank 30 Rhino, AC 190 (default) Weapon: Unmodded Rank 30 Ogris, OC, 3F(vv-) Ogris is pointing the target's floor (target is located at ground zero, but the rocket does not hit any body parts of the target) Result: deal 450 damage to shield and 20 to health There is no question the explosion deals full damage to the shield, but for the health part seems a little weird. By the AC formula(Update 11): Damage = modded Damage / (1 + (Armor / 300)) and the in game Codex: Ogris deals 650 Blast Damage. The final damage on the target should be: 122.448979592 = (650-450) / (1+(190/300)) This is not the result I got. If I reverse the formula and use it to find out the original damage deal by the Ogris, I'll get: 482 = [20 * (1+(190/300))] + 450 Does not fit to any known number. ---- [This part is for self damaging test] Test #2 Testing target: Rank 30 Ember, AC 15 (default), and use a not started survival mission to do self damage. Weapon: Unmondded Rank 30 Penta (350 Blast damage) Deals 105 damage to the shield 0.3 = 105/350 Ability: Rank 3 Fireball (200 Heat damage) Deals 58 damage to the shield 0.29 = 58/200 It seems like when the Warframe deal damage to itself there is a ~0.3 multiplier. ---- Test #3 Testing target: Rank 30 Ember, AC 15 (default), and use a not started survival mission to do self damage. Weapon: Unmodded Rank 30 Ogris, OC, 3F(vv-) It teals 150 damage to the shield. Which means the original damage is 500 = 150/0.3 but the in game Codex(and unmodded stats of the weapon shown in the arsenal) says Ogris deal 650 Blast Damage. So, which one is the number DE wants? ---- Sorry it's rough but I'm curious about. Thanks for Reading. ---- P.S. : Personally I prefer 650 P.S.2 : I've fired several rockets to my friend for gathering data, and I notes the damages are all the same regardless the distance between the target and the center of the explosion. P.S.3 : During missions, sometimes the rocket will past through the target or floor without explosion, and I'm sure I dont have any Punch Through Mods on Ogris. P.S.4 : No, I dont have PS4. yuio678
*gulp* My current 1 forma fully modded Ogris can one shot me with Rhino and Max Iron Skin based on this initial base damage of your theoretical 482 Blast damage. I don't even want to imagine how intensely monstrous the Ogris could become if the game actually outputs the true 650 Blast base damage value cited in the Codex. Sweet Jesus! GSGregory
Oddness. Only thing I can think of is a certain amount of the damage goes to the rocket hitting its target?
Zarlockk
In UI it says to me 3k<x<4k base and 8k<x<9k elemental damage. 1 Forma. 1 shots everything lower than level 50. And it is AOE so my favourite Defence weapon.
Sixty5
IIRC it deals 150 damage on projectile impact and 500 on detonation. That is how it worked historically, and im guessing nothing has changed there.
BadAimbot
There are two damage components: the direct impact and the blast radius. I'm not sure what part the Codex is supposed to show, but note that the blast can be quite dodgy with the damage it deals.
Altale
did you take your frame's armour value into account?
Tulzscha
Moved to the proper section, looks like a UI/Codex bug with incorrect values.
