-GaMeR-
Is this possible to obtain? I really like the physx effects on warframe, but can't enable them because I don't have nVidia GPU. I think some games have option to enable physx on the CPU, I'm not quite sure, but can this be implemented in warframe?
Nervara
Borderlands 2 enabled Physx for non Nvidia GPU's. I don't think this will every happen in Warframe. As many do including myself just regret siding with AMD and go for Nvidia for your next GPU.
taiiat
the advanced Turbulence Field libraries for PhysX require an Nvidia GPU in order to use. it's just kind've how it is. and Borderlands 2 was using simpler libraries for AMD GPU's, and may have been even for Nvidia GPU's just for consistency. the other simple PhysX libraries are already present in Warframe. the only thing you don't have access to are Turbulence Fields - which honestly, are more blinding than actual visual additions to the game. edit: also, in the future, the search function would have been helpful to find the dozens of threads that have already covered this topic, with all of the answers already written out ;) Edited February 4, 2014 by taiiat
kscott190
PhysX is a Nvidia only property, so no it can not be enabled on AMD GPUs.
