Ogris Rockets Shouldnt Do Damage When Shot Down By Enemies

Why not? Thing is extremely OP, that's a good way to balance it out. Risk versus reward.

i dont consider an at random 1 hit kill on your self to be "balancing"

the simple fact that any enemy that gets close range forcing you to switch your weapon to deal with them is balance enough and that becomes even more true as you add damage mods onto the thing

Thing has 500 some rounds default, deals out huge damage in a wide area. Of course you have to switch, or you can just fall back a bit and shoot it. if you don't like that, switch to the penta and stop complaining.

No. "Risk" means that you can kill yourself if you're not careful. This is not "risk"; players are being punished for something that is entirely unavoidable.

Imagine that you had a Warframe whose "4" ability was to simply do AoE damage over a wide range, but it had an unavoidable 1% chance of instakilling you when you used it while not producing its effect. Is that fair? Is that a balancing factor?

OT: The rocket just shouldn't detonate at all. It should just sort of break and fall apart into nothingness, like what happens to rockets shot down by arrows in TF2.

i agree with this. have it fall down and do nothing or atleast have a shot rocket only do a fraction of its damage. anything so its not an unforgiving insta kill when a grineer sprays and hits your rocket right when you shoot.

the whole point of this topic is that they can shoot down your rocket right when you shoot it. Its the same as if they gave the gun a 4% jam chance and on jam it blew up in your face doing full damage. thats not balance thats punishment for even using the weapon. I personally think the ogris should use sniper ammo to level out its power with cost. THAT would be balancing it.
