JohnProdman
So compared to Mag, perhaps Nova or Ember. I fancied a rhino but I have seen oberon. . Which looks very similar.. Not even remotely similar. Oberon has absolutely nothing in common with Rhino and never will be even remotely as useful.
(PSN)proaccs
Ok I will go away and do a bit more research then..... are oberon and rhino not both strength based?
RoboDoge
Ok I will go away and do a bit more research then..... are oberon and rhino not both strength based? They are quite different. Rhino is good overall frame for newbies and they are everywhere. No skill frame. Oberon in lacking and should get some buffs, tho he can be good if you get proper mods on him. If you like Mag and looking something similar to her, Banshee might be somewhat close ( tho she might be find her worse than Mag without proper modding ). Zephyr is also nice, if you dont expect her to deal insane amounts of damage.
f-e-a-r-s
Oberon is more of an offensive focused healer (healing projectiles, DoT floor paths, AOE damage with % to spawn health orbs when enemies die from it, direct damage with non-seeking randomly pathed projectiles) whilst rhino is a supportive tank (temp damage boost) with a lean towards defence (immune to damage and debuffs for X points of damage, AOE damage+stasis, forward dash w/ knockdown+damage) Edited February 16, 2014 by f-e-a-r-s
(PSN)proaccs
I will go and research nova ember and rhino then many thanks
f-e-a-r-s
Nova, fragile, highly offensive, press '4' to win frame with good mobility (slow moving, guided energy ball that absorbs whatever damage it gets hit by then multiplying it by X when it detonates, wormholes, AOE slow+double damage+explosion on death that usually results in a chain reaction) Ember, fire based, "best defense is a good offence" frame (fireball with small AOE+DoT, AOE slow+bonus X% damage from fire, ring of fire that damages all who go through it+initial AOE damage on casting, AOE high DPS ability that affects multiple targets one at a time.)
