Wemic
Mod Name: Hacker's InstinctMod type: Aura mod.Effect: Marks all Control Consoles within a certain distance on the minimap of all players, using a unique icon. If the console is being used by an enemy, the icon turns red and blinks, the terminal glows and can be seen through terrain (similar to what Thief's Wit does to Artfacts), a unique sound effect is played, and a small text message appears stating something like "Warning: Security being Triggered". Also extends the time enemies must interact with a console before an alert/lockdown is caused.Improvement: Ranking up increases the time extension of enemies issuing an alert/lockdown.Purpose: To aid player's ability to prevent enemies from setting off alerts or activating lockdown. Can be used in conjuction with or instead of Enemy Sense.Rationale: It would give a more specific way to prevent the consoles from being used than the existing Enemy Sense mod. Knowing where the consoles are allows players to directly look and see if an enemy is running towards one, and the blinking effect when an enemy starts using a console to set off an alert or activate lockdown gives an even more specific indicator and could help the player interrupt the enemy more quickly. Enemy Sense, in situations where the enemies are numerous, is not always sufficient. While some may argue that players should simply learn where the consoles are in the various rooms of the tileset, not every player has the time/memory/desire to do so. xethier
instead of increasing detection radius. (it would already be limited innately by the minimap size) instead, have it increase the time necessary for mobs to "lock down" or "alert" the system. would be a good play into stealth 1.0 ('cause as far as i'm concerned we don't have anything even remotely "stealthy" about this game yet) :P
ElnathduTaureau
Should come with something more visible than just a blink on the minimap imo, like a "Warning: security is being triggered" written in a small red font on the top of the screen. Otherwise it's a great idea for any frame and a welcome addition to any stealth build I think =)

A special sound effect would probably also be a good idea.
