7.T.
IMO, it's obvious that no matter what, Oberon wont replace Trinity. Felt kinda stupid even typing that... Anyway, that said, why not let Renewal heal Sentinels? EDIT: I don't want misunderstandings so just in case people don't read further: Oberon isn't supposed to replace Trinity. The idea of one Warframe replacing another in any context is a bad way of thinking. Trinity offers better healing, because that is her entire role. She is a healer. Oberon has damage, crowd control and healing. He is a jack of many trades and that gives the player who uses him far more options than someone who plays a specialist. I think you misunderstood. I wasn't asking for that. I put that sentence in there to deter this type of response lol. Trinity is infinitly better. That aside, is there any reason not to have Renewal heal Sentinels? I just think it would make sense if it did Edited February 25, 2014 by 7.T.

Noble_Cactus
I understand why the Renewal revive bug was fixed, but perhaps that could be incorporated back into the skill? Something like a Renewal hitting the downed target starting the revive counter, but if that player was hit again the revive would cancel? Oberon is a jack of all trades but not only not a master, but not even very good, at any. Giving Renewal a niche over 26 second invulnerability would help him stand out more and also fit his Paladin theme better. Its visual (little balls flying after teammates) makes no sense for a pally, either. Something like a flash of light, or a sphere of light, would make more sense I think. Renewal needs more, and this would help keep you little friends alive longer. -Jin

I wouldn't mind a change to the visuals either. "Giving Renewal a niche over 26 second invulnerability" is exactly the opposite of the point I attempted to make with my first sentence in this thread though. To reiterate with different words: Trinity is the healer and that's totally cool. I don't think should be or want it to be competition/comparable for Trinity aside from the fact that it is a healing technique. Again, just my opinion. Thanks for your posts btw Edited February 25, 2014 by 7.T.
Cyrionn
I also think that Renewal isn't justifying its cost at all. I still don't get why the projectiles, even if they move faster now. Healing sentinels ? Why not, sounds like a start to make it relevant. I don't really like the idea of reviving downed allies, that would be way too OP. What could be nice also is having a base instant heal first before the HoT kicks in. Actually with full power strength it heals for 450, so let's say a 200 base heal and a 250 HoT, not stackable to not end with spamming healers Oberons. That would make it helpful in tricky situations, and not only something you would cast when the fight is over between two waves in defense.
