Einde's Weapon Concepts (Tenno Grenade Launcher)

Since I am a quite imaginative man, I have quite a bunch of ideas each time I wake up, each time I turn on my computer, each time I launch Warframe... Recently I had some weapon ideas. And I would like to know what would people think about it.

 

Tenno grenade launcher :

Weapon Slot : Primary

Weapon Type : Launcher (o rly ?)

Trigger Type : Semi-Auto

 

Firing rate : 1.5 nades/second

Magazine size : 4 nades/mag

Reload Time : 2.5

Accuracy : 100.0

 

Damage :

- 150 pure slash.

Crit chances : 0%

Crit damage : Meh !

Status Chance : 25%

Explosion Radius : 3 meters

Travel speed : 25m/s

 

Desc : This is a tenno manufactured grenade launcher. That big thing can launch shattering grenades that will explode on contact with any surfaces, releasing a myriad of razor blades (IE : it acts like an explosion but deals slash damage). This is not really a very original weapon, but the great thing is his very high status chance ability that makes you able to spread status effects to a bunch of ennemies in a single shot. Compared to the Penta, the gun have much less power and one less grenade in the clip, but this is compensated by a much higher status chance capacity and a better firing rate, making you able to nicely spam grenades if modded correctly. Penta's blast radius is wider, but the weapon's radius of 3 meters makes it a bit safer to use as long as you don't use it at close range. The grenades have a fast travel speed too, making them able to attack ennemies a bit more quickly.

If it had a good firing rate and ok reload + being accurate it might be quite good.
Also a tiny 10 impact and puncture might do it some good. Hard to tell without any numbers ;P

Some calculations (without taking damage type into consideration)



150 + 165% serration = 397.5
150 + 165% serration and +165% heavy caliber = 645

Serration+Heavy cal. and Elemental mod 90% (1):
645 * 0,9 = 580.5
645 + 580.5 = 1225.5

Serration Heavy Cal. and Multishot (90%)
645 * 2 = 1290
(1290 * 0.9 = 1161)

Serration+Heavy Cal. and Multishot (90%) + Elemental mod.
1225.5 * 2 = 2451
(2451 * 0.9 = 2205.9)

Serration+Heavy Cal. with 25% proc with mods:
Malignat Force give a + 60% and the new event mod will likely do the same - another 60%. Then we have the standard 15% status mod
60+60+15 = 135%

25 + 135% or
25 *(1+1.35) = 58.75

This would bring the proc chance to 58.75. Pretty much a proc at every shot with Multishot.
(With just 60% from Malignat force the proc would come to 40% and with the other 15% mod it would be 43.75.
You'd probably go for 2x60% proc though making it +120%
25 * (1+1.2) = 55



A build vs. Infested.


1 Serration
2 Heavy Cal.
3 Split Chamber
4 Infected clip
5 Hellfire
6 Bane of Infested
7 Malignat Force
8 High Voltage (the new mod)

645 dam
90% Multishot (1290 * 0.9 = 1161)
1354.5 Corrosive (Infected clip 0.9, Malignat force 0.6 and High Voltage 0.6 = 2.1)
580.5 heat (Hellfire 0.9)
55% proc

645 Slash @ +25% vs. Infesed, +50% vs. I. Flesh and + 15% vs. Fossilized (x2 with multishot)
1354.5 Corrosive @ +75% vs. Fossilized (Ancients)
580.5 Heat @ +25% vs. Infested and +50% vs. I.Flesh

Procs:
Slash: 55% chance to do (645*0.35) * 7 over 6 seconds (225.75 * 7 =  1580.25)
Heat: 55% chance to do (580.5/2) * 7 over 6 seconds (290.25 * 7 = 2031.75)
Corrosive: 55% to reduce enemy armor (couldn't find the stats)

All this is * 2 when multishot "procs".

 

+30% Damage vs. Infested from the Bane mod.



If High Voltage is missing you might go for Firestorm  +24% added AoE (3m + 24% = 3.72m), Stormbringer (to get corrosive vs. ancients) or possibly Wildfire 60% fire - the mag being only 4 would however make this a bad idea as it would not be increased by the 20%.

Just read your calculations.

 

Looks fine for you ?

I guess that if you make it pure slash you could work the elemental mods to work for you.

It would probably work great vs. Infested and quite well vs. Grineer too.
