Sicarus was one of the only non-melee weapons that I leveled solely through XP leeching. Burst fire weapons are very underwhelming in Warframe. Yes you can mod/forma them to be tolerable, but on the whole they suffer on two fronts. - Burst fire in such a fast paced environment, is dodgy at best - Lacks the necessary boost in damage to make up for loss of rate of fire. Burst weapons in this game are essentially wedged between Full-auto and Semi-auto weapons in a bad way. They have the disadvantages of both, without the advantages of either.
