How To Revamp All Damage Abilities To Make Them Scale And Useful Drastically Increasing The Usefulness Of Many Frames

Change damage abilities that have no cc components such as shuriken, psychic bolts, etc. To a flat damage number, and also do damage based on a percentage of the targets health. This change instantly makes many abilities that are considered worthless and do not scale, do both, and all of a sudden gives damage frames scaling. Focus and leveling up the ability can increase the percentage and flat number. Turns many frames considered worthless into something that is worth taking.

This has been suggested before, but, as far as I know/remember, no one from DE has ever acknowledged the idea.

 

It would really improve the game if it was implemented, though.

They had the right idea making Valkyr Hysteria be affected by your melee weapon/mods, they should apply the same principle to other melee-based warframe techniques like Slash Dash, Blade Storm etc.

 

That will fix those ones, at least.

This is literally the only way they will ever balance damage focused frames vs CC focused frames at all levels without adding something like CC resistance to higher leveled enemies.

you can't add cc resistance though because without cc it would be impossible to do the higher levels, you just can't kill the other enemies fast enough.

So your saying you'd actually have to be good at avoiding damage to do higher leveled content, wow that would actually do good things for the game.

 

Did you know that the only reason our "God" frames are good is because they attack enemies in a way they do not level against. At least all frames would be on an equal footing when it came to usefulness.

 

On a more serious note, your idea has been requested before, DE has shown no interest in actually balancing frames.
