00zau Posted April 2, 2014 Share Posted April 2, 2014 I use a 4/5 barrel diffusion to get exactly 100% multishot for two mines per throw and ice storm to get a 3 shot magazine. Some of the mod choices are outdated but the reasoning behind multishot was carefully explained unless they changed/fixed them which i believe they have not. as for builds you can try this http://goo.gl/DdNMLw magnifying glass bring up other people's builds but basically the picture above is the best for corrosive damage. Yes, you are correct in throwing out exactly 3 sets of 2. However, that's worse of late game as you now do less grouped dps per shot where it counts in addition to the damage dropoff you had to mitigate out for validating Ice storm. however 2 set of 3 hold a much better dps rate not to mention that if you max out multishot there are points where you get 7-8 shots max instead of just 6 due to multishot surpassing the system when you have 5 castanas out.
