GarrisonStewart Posted April 5, 2014 Share Posted April 5, 2014 Alright, considering the nature of Primes, it's obvious that Vauban isn't going to get one any time soon. However, in the event that we do ever get a Vauban Prime, how would we go about getting him? (Barring Prime Access) Would he be obtained the same way as the other Primes, further adding to the Void drop pool? Or perhaps he is obtained through a separate key also obtainable only through the Void, in which you get a chance of one of his blueprints? Or perhaps that key is only obtainable through alerts, much like the Original Vauban's blueprints? Just an idea that popped into my head after getting some of Vauban's parts. Not challenging you or anything, I'm just curious. iirc, booben, nekro, birdframe, nova, obe1 and valk are all "new" and not derivatives of primes. not really sure where the "proof" for that would be, but i seem to recall reading that in the very little lore we have. Order is Excalibur, Frost, Mag, Ember, Rhino... So next prime is male. eh, i dunno about that. the reality of primes is a little more... odd than that. there is no set order, any order we think we see is just coincidence and nothing more. after all, this is DE we are talking about here. they do whatever the hell they want whenever they want to with little to no reason behind it. Probably 3 or 4 Warframes in the waiting line. aside from the lore that gets easily pushed aside for more money... there is still the "issue" of order here. i mean, frost was the second prime out there, so there really is no order to it at all. gender, theme, time of release... there really seems to be no order to them at all. I think awhile ago one of the Devs mentioned that any frame AFTER Vauban is unlikely to get a prime. Vauban wasn't really a new frame, more like a later released one. Like Banshee.
