Arkor
We already have a backflip animation by pressing back + aim, then tapping roll. Well, this is true. But the ground slam radius is a little too big for this backflip animation to really be efficient. So that's why I suggested some kind of "hidden" evasive QTE ! TheSeannachaidh
Agreed. The main issue I have with playing pure melee now, is getting knocked down by an unavoidable ground slam. Imo, a good solution would be to give you super armor (Temporary resistance to all CC but not damage), whenever you pull off certain combo chains, such as with various frame skills. I have to disagree with the unavoidable part. There are resist knockdown mods. If you want to focus on Melee, then you should have to mod for it. Also, Warframes like Trinity and Rhino all have a means of resisting these knockdowns, which will make them particularly great melee-ers.
Kartumterek
Pretty clear that its a lack of knowledge of game controls/mod usage/general skill level at heart; Heavies are fine. If anything our poor opponents need to find new ways to oppose us, Tenno power resistances along with changing all skills to require line of sight to affect mobs would go a long way to evening the play field. Not exactly cool to have some powers work correctly (Radial Javelin) and others not (Radial Blind, pretty much every other frames powers. This is coming from a known Radial Blind addict). Its lame to have our enemies take cover, provide suppressive fire/overwatch/bound, DODGE, DUCK, DIP, DIVE and DODGE, etc and its all for naught because some nub 3 rooms away and 2 floors down spams his number 1/2/3/4 button. Bring back the skill baby... bring back the skill
