Abilities:

 

Power 1: Rift- He conjures a time rift in which everything around him freezes for a short duration. A rift portal will open in front of him as well as another will open where his cross-heir is aimed. He can pass in and out of the rift portals at will, but they will close when the power duration ends. During the power duration, even allies are slowed, but this allows him to quickly evade danger, or revive a fallen ally. The power duration lasts 3 seconds (base). (25 Energy)

 

Power 2: Rift Scar- For a short duration (5 seconds base) Chronos creates rift scars by means of attacking his enemies. When he attacks an enemy they are pushed into a rift scar and are instantly spit out. As an enemy is spit back out of the rift scar they are pushed out, thrown, into other enemies, knocking them over. If completely surrounding by enemies, such as infested, this ability works great while delivering quick melee strikes, and at range it acts as a means to disorient multiple enemies to lower heavy suppressive fire against himself and or allies. (50 Energy)

 

Power 3: Reverse- With a pulse of energy he reverses time in a large radius around him. This power effects only his allies and acts as an instant revival technique from any distance. (75 Energy)

 

Power 4: Time Warp- Chronos creates a large orb around. Within the orb time itself is manipulated and all incoming attacks and attackers vanish instantly. During the effect Chronos is center within the orb and unable to move. Once the power duration ends, all vanished enemies will re-appear and drop out of the sky onto other enemies, knocking them over, and all incoming bullets will fire out of rift scars all around the area. The redirected bullets will fire out of randomly opened rift scars and will fire in random directions. However, they will not fire directly into a wall, rather will open on the outer parts of the room and fire inward, which can easily cause enemies to get caught in the cross fire. The more bullets absorbed by the orb, the more rift scars are made and the more deadly the attack becomes. Also, while being projected out of the rift scars, the bullets move at an increased trajectory, thus generating more power and increased damage (basically if a bullet were to do 2 points of slash damage, it will then do 3, or 4 slash damage when projected out of the rift scar.). Suggested Weapons for This Warframe:

 

Primary: Rift Scaar: This high powered launcher fires off grenades that explode into small worm holes. Any enemy caught within the worm hole it crushed as they implode into themselves and disappear into nothingness.

 

Secondary: Darts: Like needles, only larger, these weapons are thrown at enemies in rapid succession.

 

Melee: Trinity Spear: This sleek, and sharp, spear is great for ranged melee and penetrating armor.

 

Name: Chronos

 

Backstory:

 

Unlike most Tenno and Warframes, this one was not cryogenically frozen, but instead disappeared through time. When word reached him through the ages of the new war, and that his brethren had awoken from their sleep, he took up arms and joined the fight.

 

Chronos comes from everywhere, and nowhere. He is a warframe barred by no chains and not even time itself can hold him.

 

Appearence:

   He wears a sleeveless hooded long jacket. The rest is open for debate. (I suppose all of it is open for debate technically  :p )

 

Blue Prints:

   Rather than a mission, or research to create this warframe, I would love to see somethign a bit more interesting. Much  like the hidden areas and vaults I think rift scars should be well hidden in random missions. They would be fairly hard to find and even to see, you should only be able to find them with the codex scanner. The rift would not be within range to be found on your normal route and so you must find the hidden area and then seek the area with the codex finder to spot the rift scar. You walk into the rift scar and it brings you into a type of purgatory where the ground is pure white with faint rising smoke and the sky is mainly white but littered with falling particles of various colors. Using the codex scanner you follow a specific route that brings you to a guardian. Guardians are robotic protectors of ancient artifacts within rift scars. Upon defeating the Guardian he will drop a blue print for one of the Chronos parts.

the problem with basing a frames power on the manipulation of time is that with the current limitations of warframe abilities, we as tenno would be incapable of producing that kind of result. sure we can do all sorts of awesome S#&$, but the S#&$ we can do is fairly limited.

The first one seems really open to trolling, since someone spamming it can just stop their allies from doing anything as time is perpetually stopped. 

 

What if he created a sphere, which absorbed projectiles and enemies during the power's duration. When it ends, it vanishes, and half the duration later, spits every enemy, then every bullet that it absorbed back out, all at once. It wouldn't last long, let's say five seconds base. Make it large enough to cover a cryopod.

 

It wouldn't replace snow globe or nukes, but would be a cool middle ground, and would scale nicely. Call it Tunnel, because it's actually a hole through time, unlike Nova's hole through space.

The first skill might need a change. It should just slow down your team mates. Not completely freeze them.
