Tiqalicious
Watching your enemy disintegrate into tiny particles of nothingness after you cleave them in two with your energy channel. There's nothing more satisfying.

Tiqalicious
Dethcube, eat your heart out. As you can clearly see in the picture, dethcube averts his eyes from the scene before him, angry and ashamed at now being second best. Wiegraf
Things that clearly feels better with Melee 2.0 : Weapons have a heavier feel on impact; Weapon sounds are MUCH more satisfying; Even without any stance equipped, melee strikes seems to flow better overall; Slow stamina recovery while in block stance if not taking fire; Channeling takes a moment to get used to but once you get around to it, it adds nicely to your attacks; also works well with Warframes which abilities are more self-supporting (like Ash) since his energy can be spent on Channeling; Even at 1.5x, the boost in damage from the combo counter helps; Wide-swing weapons and dual weapons gain a very nice advantage being used in crowds since a single swing can build up the counter rapidly; Revised damage model for weapons means they're better adjusted across the board; Blocking feels a lot more intuitive and useful; For a third-person shooter/action game, these changes feels like a nice complimentary addition since most shooters have a very basic melee system; Given the use of "Stance" mods, possibility to expand each weapon category capabilities in the long term. It's not without fault (I remember we were told we were supposed to have a few default stance mods) but it's a solid groundwork to make melee stand out as not just a panic button but an integral part of a playstyle. There you go: Dragon Nikana, get it and cry away of happiness (BTW theme song should be "Because I'm Happy - Pharell Williams" on that Katana)
