Dual Melee-Did De Switch The Larger Weapon To The Left Hand?

Howdy,

Since the latest major update...

I have noticed when using the dual melee weapons that the larger weapon is now held in the left hand, and the smaller weapon held in the right.

This is most obvious with the Cutlass type weapon where the dagger is held in the right and the cutlass itself is held in the left.

Generally this hand positioning is how left handed people would use dual weaponry of this type.

However, since the warframes hold the firearms like a right handed person, I find this to be strange.

I suppose they must be ambidextrous right? lol

Anyway it's just something I noticed and I was wondering what the reasoning behind this change was.

Hmm. Well maybe I am mistaken...

perhaps I just didn't notice it until I saw the cutless/dagger combo.

heck I don't know.

Either way the Tenno are currently using one handed and two handed melee weapons like right handed people..

but use dual wielding like we are left handed people.

I'm wondering what the thought process behind this is.

To add on to that-- most melee weapons (save for daggers?) are sheathed on the back with the hilt facing left. This implies that the Tenno would use a left handed stance, but quick melee with single and two handed swords uses their right hand. Always wondered about that.
