Toggle Channel Option Please.

I ALWAYS use it. Would be nice to not have to hold down the button. (I use a controller.)

I would rather channeling cost energy to activate regardless of hitting anything and then burning thru energy to keep it up but less energy to maintain then activating it to punish you for not timing your attacks better they could even add a mechanic where perfectly timed channeling could cause a forced crit allowing you to red crit or something to reward you for your skill

I put it here since it's an ability to the frame not a single weapon. Ya it can only be done with melee, but the frame is channeling not the weapon.

agree'd toggle is a better options, its a pain when your holding block, as well as trying to hold charge then melee strike, fumbling 3 buttons is annoying esp if like me you prefer melee on your middle mouse, trying to mash left+right+middle is terrible.

 

if i could just press my LMB to toggle it on/off that would be perfect.

Also, I can't seem to get my buttons to stay where I try to bind them. Keeps reverting ALL settings to default when I do.

As long as it's an alternative option and not the only means. I for one prefer holding the button to channel and block, it gives me more control and channeling 100% of the time is pretty much unnecessary anyway.

you lose nothing for channeling all the time, you only consume power when actually striking so toggled on wouldnt waste anything.

Except I prefer to channel only on certain enemies or strikes in the combo, so yeah actually I'd lose a ton of flexibility that I'm growing fonder and fonder of.

Difficult to keep track of what is and isn't toggled in the middle of swinging the sword, man.
