If you just have updated your drivers or you are testing different drivers, you might want to restart your computer after a driver install.

This is because of Cuda. Cuda sometimes needs a reboot after a driver update.

This helped me a lot:

Don't update your driver. Completely remove your current driver from your computer, restart your computer, then install the latest driver.

Apologies for the useless advice if you already do this.

I don't know if it's the same issue for everyone, but this is the only solution that worked for me:

Go to C:\NVIDIA\DisplayDriver\GeForce337.50Driver\PhysX (or equivalent if you have a different OS or driver version), double click PhysX_9.13.1220_SystemSoftware, and select Repair. If you were still having the problem, I hope this helped!

Do you even have a Nvidia? if so, then switch PhysX in the "Nvidia Control Panel" entirely to the GPU instead of automatic.

If you have the newest drivers and/or the newest PhysX installed, it should work.
