(PSN)theelix Posted April 26, 2014 Share Posted April 26, 2014 I don't mean in combat situations, it's too impractical and a huge waste of time on anything that isn't the kogake or the obex. The wall attack fails, as I've seen it, when you're not host or when there's enough enemies. On a defense mission, if you're host or not, if the wave started and you haven't cleared out over half of the enemies, try a wall attack. You'll start normally for the first half second, then you're spaz out, seemingly spinning at impossible speeds, then you'll go off, disoriented and backwards, usually from where you were looking at, and you won't be able to hit anything. Has this been fixed in Melee 2.0? In the U13 update we're getting hopefully late night Monday/Tuesday? I've seen nothing about this since wall attack is such an under-used function that no one notices it. I believe you should fix it so you actually go where you're aiming. As if you're aiming down, you should go down not perfectly horizontal. As I said wall attack fails in those circumstances, the only time I see it work is during solo and when there are less than thirty-five percent of the enemies left (in like a defense mission or something).
