Enemies Of The Tenno: Infested Submissions

Name suggestion: Lobber

Behavior: This slow, armored Infested maintains its distance from enemies so as to suppress them with toxic grenades that create clouds of poisonous gas.

Attacks: Lobs toxic grenades at enemies from a distance (like the Torid). When enemies draw to close it will resort to melee, swinging its arm to try and bat them away.

Environmental Restrictions: None, the creature roams freely.

Name Suggestion: Torash

Behaviour: Lotus, we have encountered a new mutation among the infested. This creature, if that is what it is, acts as a door trap like the corpus laser doors but instead it is this semi-conscious, living mass that spews toxic webbing across a doorway when nearby infested are alerted to our presence. The webbing is only permeable for infested and can cause toxic damage like a Toxic Ancient. The webbing is not necessarily spider webbing, it could be a porous sheet of fungi like substance, we are uncertain. If an unwary Tenno should touch the Torash webbing, the Torash will then mark him or her with a fungal spore and fire toxic globs or darts in a shotgun-like manner at the hostile to defend itself. Again, we are uncertain of what the projectile is due to its bullet-like speeds.

Attacks: Spews a porous, toxic, sheet of webbing across a doorway when alerted. If touched by a Tenno, the warframe itself or with a melee weapon, the Torash will fire toxic globs or darts or whatever at the Tenno in a shotgun-like fashion (only once per touch). Though not an attack from the Torash itself, its impermeability for us makes evading large hordes of infested difficult.

Environment Restrictions: The Torash usually inhabits doorways, but, as we have seen, will occasionally make a home in relatively small tunnels.

Name:

Replicator Parasite

Behaviour:

This humanoid shaped blob of biomass, stumbles along very slowly towards it's target, the nearest player, whom upon being reached will be replicated (But look more fleshy) and replace the creature. his near exact replica can do everything the player can.

Attacks:

Before replication the enemy can pull targets to it, making it easier to replicate them, and can also fire bone like spikes which can knock the player down, dealing minor damage. Also the creature will deal minor AoE poison damage by spitting up venom rain. After replication the creature will essentially have all of the same attacks as the player, but replacing all physical damage with poison damage that deals considerably less damage than the original attack.

Environment Restrictions:

Going in the cold will make it even slower and more vulnerable to damage.

(I've seen the other post regarding a Infested Tenno enemy variant, this is my take on that same idea since I've also had this in mind for a long time)

Name Suggestion: Infested Tennos

Behaviour:

Infested versions of a typical Tenno. After succumbing to the Technocyte Virus, they lost all their reasoning and intellect in addition to mutating them into gruesome shadows of their former selves. They now serve as the Infested's artillery bomber against their enemies. Instead of fighting with guns and swords, this abominations instead uses their mutated arms to shoot blobs of infectious substances and slash their enemies to half.

Attacks:

Infectious Blobs - Their left hand is capable of launching infectious blobs of unknown substance to their enemies. Capable of causing either Toxin, Corrosive or Viral(can be randomized per Infested Tenno appearance) status procs when it hits.

Sharp Arm Blade - When engaged in close combat, they will use their right arm-turned-blade to slash enemies for high damage. Capable of causing either Toxin, Corrosive or Viral(can be randomized per Infested Tenno appearance) status procs on random hits.

Environment Restrictions:

Anywhere where the Infested are or even inside prison cells

Optional Art:

Infested Terran

Cheers~

Name: Infected Caecus (latin for invisible)

Behavior: Very Stealthy. Low Health.  It has active camouflage allowing to be nearly invisible (can see blur in the air to make not too OP).  It will try to close in on enemies with a great speed using ceilings or walls if needed.  Will always be alerted of presence even when no one else is alerted (even when using invisibility yourself.   ex. ash, loki).  If it is attacked, it will become visible to show a hideous look.  If it is not killed after it becomes visible, it will let out a blood curdling scream which magnetizes screen (no energy loss) and then goes back to being invisible. Can steal energy orbs.  Cannot be detected by enemy sense and enemy radar.

Attacks:  These creatures are deadly due to their stealth.  When they attack you from the front they will do normal attacks with 4x stealth bonus if invisible and when they attack you from the back, it will assassinate you (30%)insta killing you or (70%)leaving you with very little health left (shields unaffected) (chance of survival increases with 3% per 50 armor).

Environment Restriction: Can not spawn in cold regions because the cells allowing camouflage freeze.

Don't know if something like this has been posted, but I'll try:

Name: Defiler

Appearance: g4LW9WX.jpg

It's slightly bigger than a warframe. And has less bones, This was the best image I could find.

Behaviour: After completing a couple of vs Infested alerts. You receive mail from an anonymous. I̵͊̌̑̃͗̾̎̀͘҉ ̶̸̨ͭͤͧͤ͗ͩ̓͗̈͢͟Aͬ̽̈ͧ̎̒̏̏̅͜M̛̊̋͐̾̄́̀͟͠ ̧̡̑ͩ͛̆̍̆̃̚҉̀͟Yͯ̀̎͗̀̎̽ͩ̿̑ͧ̌ͤ͛ͥ̀͟͟O̸̸̵͊̅ͮ̌̒͛̐̐̽̿͐̊̓̏͘͠Ư̶̡̽̈́͑̄͛ͫ̉̇ͩͮ̓͛̂͡

When on a mission: The colors start to fade, turning grayish. And lotus says something like: We are getting abnormal reading, evacuate immediately.|(Something similar to Grustrag). After that a thing like this appears and attacks the Tenno.

Attacks: If you're alone on the map It shapeshifts into one of the warframes at random, using it's abilities. (It's textures are slimy and dripping).

If there's more than one tenno on the map. It jumps at a random tenno and wraps around it, mind controlling it. When this happens, this tenno must be killed. After he or she starts bleeding out Defiler will detach itself and be vulnerable for a period of time. If it's not killed during that time, it uses it's mind control once again. And so on...

Obviously the mind control target needs to have nerfed damage. And use it's abilities similarly to Tenno Spectres.

ccqt9hh.jpg

P.S. You can sell the slimy skin for platinum after this, and make some extra dosh. :D

Name Suggestion: Heeder

Behavior: The Heeder is an extraordinary being of multiple sorts, it is an extra terrestrial being with six eyes on its back forming a circle, it has no nose and no eyes on its face, it has teeth sharp enough to tear a tenno into shreads. It is slim and tall and has an exoskeleton like skin which plays as its armour. It is unpredictable most of time, as this can make the being a dangerous foe, some tenno recorded in their codex that the being can moves its eye onto its face for front view sight support or form a ring of eyes on its waist, the being can go all on four legs or stand on two legs, the being has a darkish grey skintone and have two supporting arms in its body as a replacement to its original arms if lost.

Attacks: The Heeder is a dominant being to the fact that it has a 360 view of its surrounding if it forms the ring of eyes on its waist, making it hard to avoid. if seen by the creature it will stand in its place staring at you, if you come any closer it will come to its defensive position and start moving its eyes to its waist or its face, the Heeder will then charge and try to grapple you, if caught, the Heeder will then drain all your shields and then it throws you down, it will then open its mouth and release tentacles out from it, the tentacles can reach long ranges making it hard to avoid, the tentacles attack in a whipping manner.

Environmental Restrictions: Light is the Heeder's main weakness, the Heeder only stays in dark environments. the darkness is its friend.

Name: Voltigen

Appearance: Moa with electrical sparks and high infestation.

Description: These Voltigen Moas are a experiment to control the infested by using robotic-infestation machines to do there will, they were mass produced. But after a while, each moa became haywire, obeying only the hive mind of the infestation.

Behavior: Un - Like normal moas, this one has a more shot-gun like blaster that can inflict corrosive damage. Also in contrast to moas, it moves more like a vicious animal then a machine and prefers to get close.

Environmental Limits: Only appears on corpus or outbreak maps.

Name: Hunter

Behavior: Warrior-type infested, strategically empowered. Unlike the other dumb and brutish Infested species, the Hunter would be smarter and more battle-savvy than its counterparts. It would assess the situation before moving in for the kill. It is almost intelligent, and knows when to back off. It even has the smarts to pick up weapons from dead enemies, but usually favors it's close ranged attack. This is an extremely powerful and dangerous Infested, and is usually encountered one at a time, unless in harder levels.

Attack: The Hunter favors a blade much like the Mire. Unlike the Mire, the blade is built into it's arm, and this allows the Hunter's weapon and offensive capabilities to be part of him, allowing him to time his attacks better. This Infested is a nightmare for Warframes with low melee capabilities, and it is the elite of the Infested attackers.

Environment restrictions: The Hunter fares terribly in colder conditions, as there are actually pockets of liquids stored in his muscles that allow him to think at a higher level than other Infested. The cold area would freeze these pockets, and then they would expand and burst. In this way, the Hunter would literally fall apart over time.

Kind of like the Elite's from Halo, only a lot more Infested-y.

P.S: sorry I took so long on the Environment Restrictions, I tend to drag on for a long time when I write things.

Infested Creeper

Behavior:

Tries to stay medium to long range away from Teno at all times. If approached Creeper will run away. If ignored Creeper will keep his distance but follow. Prefers to hide in cover when possible. Has an armored shield on his left shoulder that also covers over half his back. If shield is struck drops scattered 'corrosive eggs' (explodes if stepped on)

Attacks:

When able, Creeper will hatch 'corrosive eggs' into 'corrosive swarm' which after a short delay of gestation will move toward the Teno. Individually they do negligible damage, but if not thinned out before reaching the Teno the damage will be much higher. The swarm latches on then explodes doing initial damage and damage over time. Damage over time stacks.

Environmental restrictions:

Walks, less effective in open areas. More effective in areas with more cover or side rooms to hide in.

Special notes:

Critical spot is the nest on his right shoulder. If killed with a critical or shot there after death body will explode damaging nearby infested/ or friendly Teno. If killed normally body will explode if stepped on by Teno. Makes a distinctive gurgling sound when hatching a swarm.

Name: Burrower

Behavior: Is a worm/millipede that crawls along on the ground and then charges a Tenno by burrowing and erupting out of the ground under the Tenno .

Attacks: Charging the Tenno underground and knocking them down and whips them with its tail, inflicting poison damage over time and direct slash damage. It can shoot poison grenades from a distance occasionally.

Environmental Restrictions: It can not burrow through walls or sealed doors. It is vulnerable to environment damage from ice or fire while burrowing or slithering above ground. Not good for enclosed spaces.

Burrowers are long and skinny with many tiny inverted legs, like a millipede, and its has serrated plates for whipping Tenno to shreds (kind of like the scoliac whip). It has many tiny glowing spines that line the body of the Burrower. It has six large eyes and large multi-layered mandibles. They appear to be mutated guardmen/ butchers.

Name suggestion: Shaders

Behavior : stealthy bat, dragon like enemies lurks above ground level, usally staying camouflaged using the environment and hanging on walls. Shaders are not directly combative but will act as a medic to infested enemies. As it stays alive it will release spores that will heal infested enemies and increase there strength. The amount of which the spores affect the infested is related to their level and if they are left on the battle field long enough the shader will mature, making it stronger and the spores stronger

Attacks:

Main ability: release: after an infested dies it releases little parasitic creatures that latch onto its attacker if in range if it can not reach an enemy in time to avenge its main body it dies from lack of host, if it laches on it will either drain health or explode depending on the type of shader that made the parasite

Secondary ability: spore release : plume of spores regenerating health of infested enemies and enhancing strength

Environmental restrictions : highly populated in derelict levels, less common on planets but only spawn on infested tile sets

Name Suggestion: Multrox

Behaviour:  Multrox are slinder and weaker foes formed by the infested, but have been used to an advantage due to it's excessive cloning gene when injured. as one it's fairly weak, but in near death it clones a group of themselves making them stronger in numbers. they come equipped with arms in the form of different class of weapons.

Attacks: melee attacks very from whatever melee class their equipped with

clone gene [more of an ability than an attack]

host cloning: the host Multrox can fuse itself apon another infested to clone the one it takes hold of. [works only once]

Environment restrictions:  only infested areas

art: something like this but more infested like and slinder.

Name Suggestion: Hornet

Behaviour:  flies around at eratic speeds to not be killed. slams into walls to create "birthing pods" that will spawn heavy infested units(ie healers, toxic, and the new enemies form this thread) and create even more hornets.

Attacks: similar to the stinger from the djinn, but, primarily behaves as a support role for the infested. also spores attract precisely so cloaking like loki or with shade is useless.  releases spores on the teeno and the area around them to attract large waves of other infested to the area(increase spawn rate and create new spawn points).

Environment restrictions:  none they are sentinel djinn big

(Optional) Art or Reference Images: similar looking to djinn

Name Suggestion: Demonic Infested

Behaviour:  A calm and tactical Infested that sneaks attacks enemies from behind after appearing from a puff of spore clouds. It will only attack the Tenno when they are being swarmed by other Infested. But once it's health drops below 50% it begins attacking wildly.

Attacks: Uses sneak attacks from behind on stragglers of the group, or appears in the center of a group and uses large AoE attacks that knockback group members when they are being swarmed by Infested. But when its health its 50% it goes into a frenzy and starts to leap around the room and slashes at enemies before leaping away to attack someone else. Its attacks cause Slash and Puncture damage as well as bleeding effects.

Environment restrictions:  Would only be seen in large or open maps which are at least level 20.

I picture him to be to be close to this in body type. But on its arms it'd have large nano filament blades it absorbed into the flesh of the host. As well as 2 smaller blades that shoot out from its palms for its sneak attacks. http://fc05.deviantart.net/fs6/i/2005/067/b/b/Xanix_Arm_Blades_by_Nek0gami.jpg
