Enemies Of The Tenno: Infested Submissions

Name: Watcher

 

Behavior: A flying infested with wings that are sharp as a blade. It patrols large open areas and lets out a large screech when alerted. This screech alerts any other unalerted infested troops. 

 

Attacks: When the watcher spots a enemy it flies directly towards him and hits him with its sharp wings. Causing knockdown damage. If the player survives and is still in a open space it will fly back up to higher grownd and will try to repeat the attack. Another attack the watcher can perform is when it flies infront of the player and flaps its wings so hard it knocks down the enemy. This attack will only happen if its in a more closed off place.

 

Enviroment Restrictions: The watcher can only be in large open areas. Otherwise it simpily lands and resorts to normal melee.

Name:

Phalanx

 

Behaviour:

Phalanx will engage the Tenno based on their weaponry, bringing with them a miniature arsenal to bear. The Phalanx can wield a shield/ whip/ blade in any combination with possible repeats so they can have say 2 blades. Two will spawn at a minimum based on WF spawn mechanics. Onto combat behaviour; adaptive evolving the name of the game, they change themselves to be more challenging. This is initiated when they take damage down to 50% health i.e. Under heavy gunfire, they will grow more armor plating (50% ranged damage reduction). Under threat by powers, they evolve to Disruptor/ leeching capabilities. If bleeding, they will turn sanguine. etc. But once evolved, they will use shield and blades and move as fast as a running ancient. The shield prevents any penetration/ damage making side and rear attacks the only real option. Since they work in pairs they aid each other by either exchanging some matter to revive recently dead partners but at expense of their health, or to cover ranged options whilst the other is melee mode. Team based tactics indicates a higher intelligence, a former Tenno? Or is it the genetic memory of the Hivemind?

Attacks:

-Blades: Run rapidly at the Tenno to begin slashing with a high slash proc chance. Deals Viral Damage.

-Whips: Ranged option, tries to stab you with it ala Ancient tentacle arm otherwise wide sweeping attacks. Deals puncture damage with Toxin.

-Shields: Bashing weapon, charge at the Tenno and knock them down deals Impact damage, they can use the edge of the shields as a minor slashing weapon.

 

Combination:

-Blade/ Shield: Advance slowly to target before making a full sprint with a shield bash and slash. Can follow up with pinning Tenno down and performing a finisher or moving to another Tenno.

-Whip/ Shield:  Wide arcing attacks to put Tenno off balance and any successful stabs inflict a Toxin Status. Or uses whip to navigate to move to a better vantage point.

-Blade/ Whip:  Uses whip to get up high before slamming down knocking Tenno over, proceed to attack Viciously.

 

Evolution Mechanic: As stated before they evolve, but to do so, they release Tendrils out to knockdown Tenno and drain some health. Any Tenno knockdown heals the Phalanx for 15% max health then turns into a cocoon. You have 5 seconds to kill it before it emerges from its cocoon.

 

Environment Restrictions:

Appears on Derelict, Dark Sector and Invasion missions, spawn in areas with heights and space. i.e Elevator/ Tree room

Средняя скорость передвижения, Держится на расстоянии. Ищет точку для точного выстрела концентрируется и стреляет подобно лазерному МОА.

 

Атаки:

Выстрел с расстояния. Можно какието ещё удары добавить.

 

Ограницения:

Средняя скорость передвижения, страдает от близкого контакта; Комбенироване слабости и устойчивость от балисты и зараженного.

 

Изображения:

Нет возможности делать изображения. Выглядет примерно как голова лефантиса с пушкой на трёх ногах.

Name:Infestech

This dangerous creature has eaten many mechs and cyborgs, evolved to be able to hack the electronic systems in wireless.

It works like floating security camera with flux rifle also as tesla projector.

 

Using hacked gimmicks and traps, it hunts its enemy very tactical.

And it even uses consoles to lock out.

 

It lives in all infestation map, but it's found often especially in infested corpus map.

 

P.S.I drew it looks like infested fujon MOA by my inspiration, but I think it may need better appearance.

Name: Infested Breeder

 

Behaviour: Very big, slow, defensive unit with much health points. Tries to protect the other advancing enemies from Tenno-fire with his armoured body.

 

Attacks: No own attacks, but infested crawlers can climb out of holes in his body armour. / Maybe only melee attacks, when you come too close to him, but he will not attack you bi his own.

 

Restrictions: Only in areas he has enough room :)

 

Look: Think about a big golem, that consists of a mass of infested parts with gaps in it.

Name:

The Unknown

 

Behavior:

Much like the STALKER , HARVESTER and The Grustrag Three ,The Unknown is a boss like infested that will hunt the Tenno for doing Infested Invasions or other reason *coughs* infested event , When The Unknown appears Lotus will alert the Tenno saying "The Unknown is on the hunt be careful Tenno" followed by a feint growl getting stronger then in its appearance it will use a high pitch shout which is one of his attacks

 

Attacks: 

Shout - The Unknown will shout in its appearance or during the fight draining Tennos of their shields , power , disrupting the screen and disabling all abilities

 

Charge - The Unknown will charge at the target Tenno like the "Witch" does in Left 4 Dead

 

Tentacle Grab - The Unknown will grab the target with its tentacle and bringing the target at melee range

 

Claws - The Unknown has a high damaging sharp claws that will ravage anything it attacks

 

Consume - The Unknown's signature move it will grab and start gnawing on the target damaging the hp directly and disabling for a few seconds , the target or his teammates must attack his weak point to escape if it is done The Unknown is stunned for a few seconds

 

Environment:

Any infested tile sets

 

Optional Art :

I don't have anything cause i have no talent in drawing T_T , all i can say is its appearance is a mutated Warframe that is slender and slightly taller than the Tenno because of the mutation , it is unknown whether there is a Tenno inside that is infested or the Mutation itself fused with the Warframe bringing it to life hence the name The Unknown

 

addtional idea : 

this is also a good idea to add a new infested weapon next to Brakk and Detron

Name Suggestion: Sputum

 

Behaviour: This enemy, codenamed 'Sputum', is an infested abomination which quickly moves with ease in a spider-like fashion from floors, to walls, to ceilings.

 

Attacks: This infested enemy coughs up caustic projectiles which have the ability to bypass most shields, temporarily reducing armor rating, and causing health damage over a short period of time.

 

Environmental restrictions: Cold environments reduce the sputum's rate of fire, but extends the duration of the damage over time effect.

Simply adding more diverse unit models (so that not every charger looks exactly the same) and even minor wall running abilities to some of the lighter, faster infested (chargers specifically) would give them a much more intimidating, menacing presence. Imagine being in a hallway trying to bottleneck and melee a group of chargers, and all of a sudden they flood the walls as well as the floor, allowing some to make their way behind you if you're not careful. (Think machines from the final fight in The Matrix Revolutions)

Name Infested Gunners

 

Behaviour essentiay infested versions of the grineer and corpus standard units with the normal weappons fused into them with the virus's infuence they prefer to hold back and use the organic/techno virus mutations to power their weappons and grenades using the reguar infested as shields while firing and throwing grenades this would add a moderate ranged threat to the infested. They may also randomly set up ambushes to throw off the usual infested behaviour of charging into the guns and blades of the tenno.

 

Atacks operating more like infested than the normal versions they would disregard cover in favor of a more mass fire appea requring either concentrated fire from the tenno cell to deal with them or the use of cover if the tenno go into cover they would use organic grenades to flush them out likey the weapons would do puncture damage since the ammo used would probaby be some type of bone or cartilage material for the grineer version and some sort of toxic natural plasma for the corpus version this is logical as the ancient disrupters have shown an ability with energy manipulation

 

Enviromental restrictions can essentialy be used anywhere the infested are can also be used randomy in regular missions.

ancient evolver

 

when you start a mission the lotus will warn about a rare technocyte virus variaton wich has the ability to become stronger, because it can absorb the bodymasses of other infested. this will happen in 3 stages.

stage 1: in this stage it looks like a  version of the runner/leaper. it will run away and towards other infested taking them into a dark corner and will absorb their mass and evolve to stage 2.

stage 2: in this stage it looks like a bigger ancient. it has multiple attacks but will stun the players and run away at half health, and repeat stage 1 but this time it will take ancients with it.

stage 3: it looks like an infested shockwave moa with an ancient body and head but with arms with metalic shrapnel on it wich it uses to inflickt slash damage to players. it also has tentacles on its back.

 

attacks.

stage 1: bite and hits.

 

stage 2: ground slam, infested slams the ground knocking players down

              ancient arm attack. similar to shockwave moa attack

              radial stun, infested roars, wich causes the players to be unable to move for a few seconds, so it can run away to evolve.

stage 3: melee attacks, strong and fast melee atacks with the metallic shrapnel on its arms inflicting massive slash damage, is blockable and                           dodgeable. 

              ground slam knocks players down.

              roar, will cause loads of infested to spawn to help in the fight.

              ballistic attack, the evolver throws the explosive runners/leapers at you.

              engulf, the evolver will grab you with its tentacles lifting you up in the air and trying to squish you, can be prevented by a groundslam or                     lots of melee attacks from teammates.

 

this infested can only be found in the oroking derlicts and the upcoming infested tileset.

stage 1 and 2 can move anywhere in a ship

stage 3 can only move in big rooms or open air.

 

 

art might come later but not sure.

Name Suggestion: assassin

Behaviour:  When this infested sees the enemy, it becomes invisible, and remains invisible until it dies, or until the danger has not passed. Moving quickly and silently, however, the ability of the Banshee "sonar" highlights it. Almost no armor. Invisible takes less than a second, but during disguise dimly lit, allowing players to have time to notice its presence.

Attacks: 

Due to the lack of armor, trying not to run the gauntlet of players, which after masking automatically teleports away from the main clusters of infested and tries to beat the players at the back. Has only melee attacks and a small attack speed, however, completely ignores the shields and armor, which can in one stroke greatly reduce the player's health.

Environment restrictions:  Does not appear in close quarters due to the lack of room for manoeuvre.

Name:Inferno Bat

Appearance: A huge flying bat that has a fiery skin that burns,has electrical claws that stops the tenno and has toxic spikes behind its spine.

Behavior: If the tenno is in the reach of the radious of the creature it will fly and swoop down directly to the tenno.The tenno will be knocked down and the other infested will attack the tenno.If the bats health is at the half of its bar it will start shooting its poisonous spikes to the tenno.The tenno will hear a super sonic scream if its sees the tenno.The creature will drain the shields if its screams reaches the tenno.If the creature is about to die it will explode and bursts its flames.

Environmental Restrictions:Can not be in cold or hydrated areas.It will disolve its flames and electricute its self if in contact of water.

Infested device: An infested device may be something like a living bridge or tissue+muscles growing on, and controlling a door. It might even be one of those tentacle monsters sitting up in the top of an elevatorshaft pulling the entire "elevator floor" up towards it jaws.

How they work:

All devices react to damage. They have an amount of hp, but cant be "killed". If a device is damaged it will try to replenish its hp by consuming nearby living organisms. Doing this will also restore its function(s). Some devices may spawn "without hp" or have opposing functions (closing/opening a door, elevator tentacle up/down).

Where?:

I'm guessing these might belong in the infested tileset, but it might just depend on how common you want them to be.

Name: Infested Floater / Wraith

 

Behavior: Uses gas to hover over players trying to stay hidden until attacked or when a player starts taking damage from other infested. Then quickly swoops down to its target. 

 

Attacks:  

 

Charge - swoops towards target very quickly and knocks target down

 

Slash - viciously swipes at target with claws 

 

Nom Nom - tries to consume target and will stay attached until killed or pressing melee multiple times 

 

Pew Pew - shoots poison darts at target

 

Environment Restrictions: will not spawn in tight corridors

Infested Splitter

 

Behaviour:

The second breed of The Chargers, The Infested Splitter are highly dangerous when in combat.

Infested Splitter hunts alone. When encountering an enemy, it will charges towards its foe with great speed and attacks it.

If the Infested Splitter is allow to receive great damage to itself, it will split itself into two dividing their health and continue on the attack in 2 forms.

The Infested Splitter is also heavily armored.

 

Attacks:

-Razor sharp claws for tearing their foes into pieces

-A wide mouth, full of sharp infested toxic teeth.

-Splitting into 2 for more complex combat with its foe.

 

Environmental Restrictions:

Locations with high level (20+) Infested.

I know it's not an infested, but neither corpus nor a grineer, 

What about a Stalker Prime, who can only came when you've killed a Stalker, because they help together as the tennos do. 

And he can only pop in the void, but he is hard to kill, more than grustag three, or the stalker and mecha cheetah. He loot stalker stuff prime.

 

 

 

For an infested, for the project, it could be a Stealthy crawler. Light armor, no shield, but can be invisible during short time, and attack fast.

Name Suggestion:

Regurgitator

 

Behavior:

The behavior of this infested would be erratic at best, not taking a direct route to the target all the time as it tries to sneak up for the most damage, but when its shot, it kamikazes at the target to attack.. The infested has a large stomach, which has grown from a normal sized stomach to spreading from the waist to the chest completely and puffs outward to be the tell-tale sign of what infested it is, that utilized the stomach acids of its original host to convert into a toxic weapon that it uses to fire toxic slime at the target, which glows inside of the stomach enough to see it outward slightly. The large stomach does not necessarily make it slower, in fact it can move quiet quickly as its goal is to get as close a possible to fire at its target. The neck is elongated to improve on firing accuracy. The regurgitator would be relentless at hitting the target, and even if it fails and dies, the remaining slime in the stomach would burst out on the ground poisoning the area for a time.

 

Attack:

The attacks are a short ranged combination, consisting of melee and poison based attacks. The primary and unique attack it has is puking a toxic slime at the tenno. The regurgitator attempts to get close to the target and fire the slime with about the range a scorch can fire an ignis. The slime is not extremely fast so it can be avoided when you see it coming, but if it hits, the target is coated with guaranteed gas damage and remains on the body for a lengthy time, which resonates a cloud of gas damage like the torid weapon. If the shot misses, the slime resonates a gas cloud at the site for a time, poisoning tenno that pass through it, but with not nearly as much damage. The reload for a shot will take a couple of seconds after a burst, but because it has a lot stored in its reconfigured stomach, it has plenty to spare. Even once its killed, it still releases toxin damage from the burst stomach.

 

Environment Restriction:

Cold Planets and Ice - Toxin becomes more solid, reducing gas effect, but increases the slime's damage (more concentrated) if it hits target directly. Range of shots are also increased.

(Was having trouble with sizing) Needless to say this is an enemy from Dead Space as is only utilized for interpretation's sake, but the concept could be considered as a reference, but with some faction armor added in, some spines or something featuring closer to the infested concept, a larger, more developed stomach sack for its function, and a longer neck for spitting the toxic slime.

I had to get this idea out of my head ... all that crawler codex work got me thinking about how to make them more challenging so I present 'The Collector' a rare crawler with a stronger link to the hive mind.

Abilities/Information will be updated;

● 'Collector' crawler would have a random ability that you can't distinguish until it attacks you toxic, electric, exploder etc.
Depending on the majority crawler 'type' connected it would primarily use that attack type.

● 'Collector' crawler would be able to sense players who are hurt and target them, seeks players who are on bleedout and if in snake/centipede form coils around them so only abilities such as ripline can help just in time.  

● 'Collector' crawler has health regen.
 

● As they assemble they become faster and more challenging to kill.

● Each segment can afflict you with a different damage type as it coils past your legs.

● When under heavy attack it will divide into segments again and hiding for a later ambush.

● To continue persuit of this type infested you will have to slide under tight areas (beams, vents, tunnels etc).

● Each segment increases total HP.

● If caught in Bastille it would divide and sacrifice certain segments.

● Segments that are electric crawlers trapped in Bastille would still be capable of electrocuting you.

● The height of this enemy means it would make use of cover behind railings, boxes etc.

● Has health regeneration until the Purple/Red crawler is destroyed.

● Segment cap at ... maybe 10 segements???

Segment Variants (Segment = Two crawlers joined at the hips)

● Segments that divide from formation/unlink hands and arms would chase after you similar to the 'Charger' type of infested, one head would take primary motor skills.

● Fused Electric Segments hits you with electric attacks while running after you instead of crawling and has a higher chance of causing chain lightning or hitting you with x2 electric bolts.

● Fused Lobber Segments would seek cover and spit projectiles at you from cover.

● Fused Crawler Segments behave like a 'Charger' swiping at you running etc. 

● Fused Toxic Segments try to jump at you similar to a leaper causing toxic and knock down ... not sure if OP???

● Fused Nauseous Segments have a longer vomit projection range.

● Fused Variety Segments for example toxic and electric would be unpredictable as one head/torso would be in control you wouldb only be able to anticipate attack based on which half is running at you eg. Electric is facing you and running towards you means electric attacks.

Behaviour:  Copies tenno abilities, shape shifts into a tenno it copies abilities from, 


Attacks: Copied tenno abilities, Mind Plague - an ability that temporarily controls your tenno and attacks nearby allies, 


Environment restrictions:  same as the tenno it copies


(Optional) Art or Reference Images: Imagine a tenno with smoke around it and burning red eyes and plain gray colors like the infested

Name : Crysis

 

Appearance: An infested human with deadly eyes, that are red and blue.He was holding his fear of Tenno, until now... He uses his arcane powers combined with his fear to execute Tenno. His spells deal arcane damage, that decrease the power of Tenno and have a chance to strike fear on them.

 

Behaviour: If Tenno comes in visibility of him, Crysis will activate a spell, increasing his own armor and turning into combat mode, that has 3 stages, between each hes empowering himself with new spells, increased armor and more rage-like look..

 

Attacks: 1st stage: Human form- Hes in his normal form, but he throw deadly shurikens on Tenno with slash damage. When his health reaches 65%, he comes to 2nd stage.

              2nd stage: Rage mode- He screams onto Tenno with fear holding in himself, giving him increased power damage and his skin is more protected and covered by spikes. Then he makes the spell similar to Embers World on Fire, but this deals arcane damage and has a bit bigger AoE. If his health falls below 30%, he turns into the 3rd stage, and final one.

              3rd stage: Crysis- In this mode, his body looks like this :

In this mode, he has 4 spells. First is his shurikens, that are the same, as on the picture below, but with a chance to explode. Second, he casts "his" World on Fire" with increased damage. Third, he can empower his skin with arcane energy, giving him immunity to any form of damage expect puncture damage. His fourth one is his ultimate. He casts it, i hes below 10% health. He puts his finger in his eye and stretches it out with scream. Then, from his other hand, while holding his eye with another, he fires a huge beam of arcane magic. If it hits any Tenno, all Tenno will be afflicted by this spell in his range and they wont be able to do nothing. Crysis soaks up the whole damage of enemies, that fallen around him while casting the spell onto Tenno, then he stops the beam and says (My fear on you!). And deals massive arcane damage on to Tenno and knocks them down.

 

Environment restrictions : He can act only in very open spaces, thanks to his spells, that arent based on close combat.

Name Suggestion:
Ancient Behemoth

Behaviour:
The Ancient Behemoth is abnormally agressive. Upon seeing its enemy, it will chase to kill without end until it has killed its target. However, once its health drops below 25%, it will run off to cover and try to regenerate before coming back to kill its target.

Attacks:
The Ancient Behemoth attacks with regular claw attacks, attacking more like chargers rather than its Ancient counterparts. Its attacks are much faster and stronger than that of the other Ancients. The Ancient Behemoth is also able to move as fast as the other Ancients can, and will be able to take as much punishment as they can, it may even be slightly faster and beefier than them. But, It's main strength is its ability to regenerate. It regenerates at an extremely fast pace. If left undamaged for just a very brief moment, the Behemoth can have its full health restored in a matter of seconds.

Environment restrictions:
Being a far more 'elite/evolved' infested, the Ancient Behemoth only appears in the higher leveled infested missions. It should also be noted that due to its hyperactive metabolism and DNA, the Ancient Behemoth seems to prefer enviroments with higher temperatures.

Appearance:
The Regenerator from Dead Space was the main inspiration here, so here's a picture of it. Just imagine two more arms on it;

Heres my idea :)

 

Name Suggestion: Hive

Behaviour:  A slow walking ranged infested.

Attacks: Throws insects grown inside its body, and when killed it explodes into 3 insect-like creatures.

Environment restrictions:  Only appears in warm area's for perfect insect hatching.

Infested NAME : ASTERN HUNTER

 

Behavior:  A large INFESTED with 2 SUPER arms dropping anyone DEAD coming in front of him.

 

Attacks : As told he HAS 2 devastating hands contaning devastating weapons 1. With his INFECTED CANNON named HANTERN which is in his RIGHT HAND is SUPER DANGEROUS which contains ROUNDS like STUG's CORROSIVE rounds but they explode at first contact  , 2. In the LEFT HAND the  LONG BLADE named ASTEIRNA with devastating speed and power that do sounds like SWOOOOSH!! SAAAAASSHHH! that can nearly DECAPITATE anything even breaking RHINO'S IRON SKIN in a single charged BLOW . 

 

Abilities: Last but not least his JEALINA ABILITINE , this works like a shield because he needs to be stunned before being hit or no damage AT ALL and the part where he needs to be hit is also shown in the PIC below . 

 

Envioroment Restrictions : He cannot  wallrun but he can super jump and get high up in the SKY.

Infested Tenno

 

Behavior: An Infected Excalibur warframe, it has a skanna, mk1-braton, and a latto. All attacks are poisened. Will attack ANY tenno, including Stalker. (possibly a new dojo mission where they attack your dojo? in certain rooms)

 

Attacks: It can use all three weapons but no warframe abilities. It Is vulnerable to warframe abilities.

 

Enviromental Restrictions: maybe we could have it appear in a new dojo room? like an entrance to the dojo? for example: A Boarding craft has latched onto the dojo, and when you enter the room and aproach the boarding craft, a panel can be pressed to start it. Then the infested tenno would enter the room and you would have to fight them off. It would have different levels of dificulty, and only 4 people at a time. Or it could be in regular missions.

Name Suggestion: Blade Runner

 

Behaviour:  It can spot targets that are far away while in its line of sight. Runs in Zig Zag pattern towards its target at an extremely fast speed. It does not fight in packs and will use its agility to get to its target no matter what. It is also capable of climbing boxes.

 

Attacks: It uses its one hand (the blade) to attack its target and may use it as a shield when getting shot from afar. Swings its arm with long fast lunging strikes. Its got less health than most of the other types of infested but is compensated by its speed. It deals mainly slash damage and its blade has similar stats to that of the Dual Ichor. It is also able to use combos when given the chance to. The Blade attacks are slightly more deadly than that of Grineer scorpions.

 

Environment restrictions:  Mostly found in higher tier levels with a rare chance of appearing in lower tier levels. It is found only in Grineer Tile-sets.
