Jeerome0406
Back to those pesky Turkish. Blowfish? Corpus. There we go. So in the last part of the post, we learned that the damage against a corpus crewman is broken into three numbers. The first is the damage against the shields solely, which is affected by the shield multipliers. The second is the damage left over when you deplete their shields and begin harming the health of your target. This damage is multiplied by the new multiplier of health divided by the old multiplier of shield. And the last number you'll see is when the shields are completely gone, and the damage is multiplied by the health multiplier only. But we have another aspect we need to look into regarding Corpus: Toxic damage. Using our Toxic Lato, http://imgur.com/2F9ORjs We will be looking into the math behind the damage when you fire upon a Corpus Crewman. So our Lato has: 6.9 Impact 11.5 Puncture 27.6 Slash 69 Toxic So let's look at that first number, being the one against shield. 6.9 * (1 + 0.5) = 10.35 11.5 * (1 - 0.15) = 9.775 27.6 * 1 = 27.6 This equals to 47 damage on the shield. But Jeer? What about the Toxic? Does it really, absolutely bypass shields? The answer: Yes it does. 69 * (1 + 0.5) = 103 Notice how that multiplier is from the Corpus flesh, not the shields. From testing we find this completely correct in-game: http://imgur.com/iKpnrGC You see from that picture I dealt 47 damage to his shields but 103 to his health. Level 5 Corpus Crewman has 168 Shield, and 74.4 health. So this damage would kill, due to the toxic damage to his health. http://imgur.com/QOkujfT You see from this pic, that at the moment of impact of my bullet, the health was depleted, but the shield remained at 168 - 47 = 121 . Against robotics, the same applies, but you must remember that Toxic damage is negatively affected by Robotic resistances. Let's do a quick calculation on the damage against a level 5 MOA unit. 6.9 * (1 + 0.5) = 10.35 11.5 * (1 - 0.15) = 9.775 27.6 * 1 = 27.6 Again, this equals 47 damage to shield. The 69 Toxic damage now has to face the Robotic resistance multiplier. 69 * (1 - 0.25) = 51.25 http://imgur.com/gKDXlGZ A 47 against shield and a 51 against robotic health. Righto. Remember that a MOA unit has 168 shield, and 74.4 Robotic health. So that 47 and 51 would not kill, leaving another shot to be taken against the poor MOA. But I was feeling merciful that mission, and I decided to - COMPLETELY ANNIHILATE IT. http://imgur.com/tFjBPZd HEHEHEHE But anyways, there you are. So all around, I really am fond of 180% magnetic, and 150% toxic damage on my weapons. Or what ever I can do to have max Magnetic and max Toxic damage on my weapons or blades. The toxic damage will ALWAYS bypass shields, along with the toxic damage, which procs for 50% of your toxic damage for 9 ticks over a span of 8 seconds. Magnetic has the proc chance to multiply the shields of your enemy by 75%. Procs are necessary for the damage build to succeed but they certainly help. I really hope you guys enjoyed this part of the episode, but the real head ache is only Just around the riverb-corner. Corrupted. Shields VS Health calculations, Armor Mitigation, and S**t tons of multipliers. Ready them brain stems of yours, it'll be a doosey. And if you guys would really like, I might do the bosses. Because they are just as much as a cluster f**k as the Corrupted are. Everyone of them. (And the wiki is actually lacking a lot of need to know information on them, so I'll need to actually test in-game before I even consider making a post, D:) Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoyed!
