A Guide For Nowadays Ash

Hello guys, I quit this game since Update 8 - 9 like that, starts playing back nowadays..

 

But I'm totally blank for nowadays Ash builds @_@

 

*And the Melee 2.0 system D:

^ Because I used to be played a good charge-attack weapon with maxed Reflex Coil and Killing Blow, but now...

Well, back to the topic.

 

Anyone who have experience with nowadays Ash mind sharing how to MOD it?

 

And the weapon choices.. Primary, Secondary and Melee.. + how to mod it..

 

I'm still playing my Hek but seems like there's better options nowadays..

 

I'm interested with Shotgun /Bow btw.

 

For Melee.. Seriously .__. Melee 2.0 aww, I still can't get use to that system lol

 

What kind of Melee fits Ash playstyle? Any suggestions?

Dread for bows , u can now go over 100% crit now . Maxed pointstrike makes evry 4th hit a red crit . AS for weapons , play in DMG and ATC Speed AS no channeling builds l , for Chanelling go efficiency and channel-dmg with what you want .

This is the build i run and love it ..#1 rule of being a Ash do not mod him like Loki two differnt play styles ..As far a melee use any you like not a big deal with him .. And you should get a shotgun nut case anytime to jump in and help you they can be fun ..But shotgun is not my thing sorry

Personally, I mod him as a high tank, high skill damage, utility, mostly general monster. So, Steel Charge aura, Shield and Health mods, Continuity and Intensity to take advantage of the V polarities, Flow to circumvent the low energy cap, and a free slot that's for adaptability or personal preference. Stretch, Blind Rage, etc to bolster new Bladestorm, Constitution for Smoke and tankiness, Vigor for extra tankiness, Equilibrium for survivability, or Streamline.

 

Primary - Doesn't matter, something high dps. Boltor, Soma, etc. The point is being able to kill as quickly as possible so time isn't wasted during smokescreen.

Secondary - A precision weapon, if the primary is a bullet eater. I use a marelok and that pretty much covers everything for ash gameplay. Brakk would be amazing for close range, too.

Melee - Dragon Nikana, Dakra, or Ichors. Berserker+Fury, focus on pure damage rather than channeling. Channeling should be used to crack the tougher nuts.

You cant go wrong with boltor/ boltor prime/ soma ..I use the flux now i just really like it but it takes some forma 4 is the sweet spot to really make it shine it is a love hate with that rifle ..

But boltor prime with just a potato can get through for a long time in a def or long survival... it is top rifle right now in the game

I prefer to use ash as a melee only frame since the only ability you really need is smokescreen. the new bladestorm is awesome and you might want to use a different build, but i had this one for quite a while now, and it was before DE released all the new buffs to ash's bladestorm. it requires 6 forma, but its pretty much unstoppable in infested survival with lifestrike. so if you really want to spend over 10 hours on polarising and modding ash, here's the build

Well the only weapon you need for this build is melee, if you want rifles and secondary's its entirely up to you, i prefer to use dread and despair because I look badass. But as to which melee weapon its totally dependant on who you're up against. For infested, dragon nikana is by far the best weapon for the job just because infested take bonus damage from slash. If you want, you can go with my lifestrike dragon nikana build

For grineer and corpus, the best weapon for the job is either serro or dual ichor. keep in mind that the reason berserker is better than fury, especially if you're running ash, is that meleeing during stealth always procs berserker, and im pretty sure berserker stacks with itself. you wont get 90% attack speed, but you'll get like 40-50% instead, im not sure. but its definitely more than fury and its only viable with ash. with serro and dual ichor all you need to do is get corrosive damage as its pretty awesome against grineer and also really good against corpus. as to how to mod them, just get fever strike, shocking touch, all the damage mods, but dont touch a single channelling mod, you dont need them. if modded right, a serro can deal over 1k damage per swing, and your dual ichors can do around 385 with 40% crit chance and 570% crit damage. you use dragon nikana exclusively against infested because of its high damage, and how much hp you regain per hit, therefore making it pretty cost efficient. against grineer and corpus though, you shouldnt be losing hp against them since you'll be perma stealthed. hope this helps
