Retrikaethan Posted June 13, 2014 Share Posted June 13, 2014 have played the game before. definitely worth the buy along with dark souls 1 and 2. dark souls builds upon and polishes things that demon's souls is/was known for. (dark makes crafting a bit easier, less grindy in most aspects as an example). fair warning though, you will die. you will die frequently. if you cannot make yourself accustomed to this fact you won't be able to beat the game. other than that, it's loads of fun and a pretty good challenge :D i would suggest going about it the first time around without the wiki (you'll probably miss items/stuff on your first run but it's a bit better to get used to the game before you start min/maxing everything). also, first run means you go until you can't go forward anymore. this might happen early, so don't worry if you hit a wall. if you hit a wall, use the wiki for aid on some things. remaking your character might also be necessary. it takes a while to learn the maps/enemies, but once you do they become cake. also things get easier as you level so older areas might be easier to farm for things. final word, blight town is @(*()$ AWFUL. once you get there, you will know why.
