  1. If your PSN account was banned/blocked by Sony, then there may be no recourse for you to recover your Warframe account. You can try contacting DE Customer Support, but there may not be a way for your Warframe data to be recovered.
  2. Hate speech is, per the Cambridge Dictionary: Public speech that expresses hate or encourages violence toward a person or group based on something such as race, religion, sex, or sexual orientation And, per the forum rules (which also extend to in-game conduct): Racism, bigotry, and other forms of hate speech are completely unacceptable ways to conduct yourself in any space, and certainly not on the Warframe Forums. If you are found posting slurs, hate-speak, or any form of hate speech, (including self-censored, masked, or rearranged versions of these terms,) your account will not only be removed from the forums, but your access to the game will also be revoked. "It was just a joke" is not an excuse or get out of jail free card; if a joke is racist, sexist or otherwise derogatory in nature, it has no business being posted in the in-game chat or on the forums. If the punchline of a joke deals with someone's race, ethnicity, religion, gender or sexual orientation, then the joke violates the zero tolerance policy towards hate speech. Hate speech isn't allowed, period. It doesn't matter if it was meant to be a joke. If you see it happening, report it. If it's on the forums, you can report the post for the moderation team. If it's in game, you can report them through the chat UI or you can take a screenshot and submit a support ticket. The automated systems designed to catch and punish players for violating this rule aren't perfect either, which means that some instances of it will undoubtedly fall through the cracks. This is why the moderation teams rely on players to submit reports of rule-violating behavior if and when they see it happen, so that those who are breaking the rules can be punished appropriately.
  3. Disable any extensions or pop-up blocking in your browser. If your browser is blocking pop-ups, then then iOS login prompt may not show up.
  4. Yes, because your browser or a browser extension is almost certainly blocking the login popup. See:
  5. Make sure your browser isn't blocking popups. Another user had this same exact issue as you and their browser was preventing the iOS login prompt from coming up.
  6. You can add a reply to an existing open case. You shouldn't create additional/multiple tickets for the same issue, however.
  7. A good rule of thumb to follow: as long as the macro doesn't play the game for you or let you do things that aren't humanly possible, then the macro is fine. If your macro lets you start it and then leave your PC while it continues to do things, this is considered letting the macro 'play the game for you', and can get your account flagged for cheating. If your macro lets you exceed human limitations and input thousands of keystrokes/inputs in a second, that can get your account flagged for cheating. If your macro makes certain maneuvers easier (i.e. one keypress to perform a bulletjump) or using a single key to perform a double-tap keystroke (i.e. to reduce risk of repetitive strain on fingers/hands), then there's no reason your account would be flagged. That said, if you're worried about macros, contact DE Customer Support and ask them; detail what the macro you want to use does and ask if it is something they would allow. Regarding other users who have been banned, always take claims with a big grain of salt. DE does not disclose the circumstances regarding bans, which means we on the forums only ever get one side of the story; it's unlikely that users will disclose details surrounding their suspension that incriminates them. Locking, as this has been answered many times before on many other threads.
  8. May have been a false alert, but I would recommend reaching out to DE Customer Support just in case. They can take a look to see if there was any peculiar logins. As a disclaimer, I'm speculating that if you have cross-save enabled and were playing on a system that has a low-power sleep mode (i.e. Playstation 5's 'rest mode') and put the system into that without closing the game fully, that might have made DE's servers think you were still logged in on that other system. If you don't have cross-save enabled, you can ignore this. Edit: I wasn't aware that the companion app could cause this issue, as NekroArts mentioned. If you run the app, this might be the cause too.
  9. When you go to the cross save page, make sure you're logged into one of the accounts you wish to link (i.e. your PC account), then click the apple icon: When you do, you should receive a popup that looks like this: This popup will allow you to log into your Apple account used for your iPhone/iPad for playing Warframe. Once you do so, you will need to specify which account you wish to designate as your primary for linking accounts. It is important to note that the primary account will overwrite the progress of any other accounts that are linked. If you do not get the popup to log in, then your browser or an extension you have loaded may be incorrectly blocking the pop-up login page. If the red 'Connect Account' box doesn't even register as a link, you may need to either refresh the page, log out and log back in, or try using a different browser.
  10. Unfortunately, Founders exclusive gear will not be returning.
  11. Linking accounts for cross-save is a permanent action, and cannot be undone. Any accounts that were linked and not set as the primary will lose their progress. Players are warned of this several times, and requires more than one confirmation of this before linking is performed. You can try contacting DE Customer Support, but I suspect their response will be the same.
  12. Yeah I'd recommend against doing this. This could definitely get flagged as suspicious behavior, and may look like you're using multiple accounts to circumvent login reward chances, etc.
  13. If you wish to enable cross-save on a console account, and you do not have a PC account, you will need to create a new PC account to enable cross-save functionality. It is important to note that if you enable cross-save, you will not be able to trade with other Xbox players unless they too have cross-save enabled. When making a PC account to enable cross-platform progression, make sure you pick a name you like, as it will become the name for your cross-progression account as a whole. Once you've made a new PC account, you'll want to link your console and PC account by going here (IMPORTANT: When linking your accounts, make sure you set the account you want to keep as the PRIMARY account; in your case, you would want to set your XBOX account as your primary account. This is because non-primary accounts will be overwritten by the account linking progress, and any items, progress or data on the non-primary accounts will be lost and overwritten). After linking your accounts, your account will now be a cross-save account, and you will be able to trade with other cross-save players on different platforms.
  14. There's nothing we can do here on the forums for your friend, they will need to resolve the issue with support. If support has made the decision to maintain the ban even after your friend made an appeal, then unfortunately that is the end of it. Locking.
  15. This... looks dumb. That's it. That's my thoughts on something like this.
  16. Near as I can tell the whole 'soon to disappear' bit is about the pack as a whole, not individual items. You're getting a bunch of stuff for a discount, versus having to get them all individually at a marked up price later. It's like a special limited time sale, if you miss the sale, you then have to pay full price. By buying the packs for real money you're still getting more value than if you bought things for platinum (partly because you also got discounted platinum to boot). Also here we see the duality of the forums. On one hand, the camp that complain about things only offered for real money and not platinum (read: heirloom collection) and the other camp who complain when things initially thought to be obtainable only for real money are then made available for platinum.
  17. Should be available to players. I've actually had to undo it for people who accidentally used the formatting method without meaning to. I figured I'd try to give it a go because my response was getting a bit lengthy. There's a 'Page' icon in the formatting tools to the left of the alignment options, when you press it, it adds a divider bar to your post that acts as a page-break. When you edit the post it looks like a bar, but when you finish editing or make the post it will break each section divided by the bar into separate pages:
  18. You can contact DE Customer Support to see if they can remove/unlink an account from your cross-save account, though they may get back to you with the answer that it may not be possible. As far as I'm aware, account linking is permanent and any linked accounts not set as the primary account will be overwritten. When the android version comes out, I imagine you could just link your android account to your cross-save account to bring your account progress to that platform, the same way if you picked up a console and wanted to use your cross save account there (by linking the console account).
  19. DE's stance on it is pretty clear, and they did address it... they reiterated they won't allow accounts that participated in previous account migrations to merge. Just because you're ineligible to merge accounts (which combines all in-game assets of both accounts) doesn't mean you cannot link accounts (selecting a primary that overwrites all linked accounts). As I mentioned in my previous post, if you want to make your Nintendo Switch account a cross-save account and do not want to erase your PC account, you can make a brand-new PC account and link your switch account to that one, which will leave you with two accounts: a PC account with your Founders gear (Excalibur Prime, etc), and a cross-save enabled Nintendo Switch account with all of your Switch account's gear (that you can then use on PC if you wish).
  20. There's context, which is important. You aren't going to get banned for swearing a little bit, especially if it's not directed at anyone (unless you use a derogatory slur). If you swear a lot then you might get a slap on the wrist (probably a kick from chat) and told not to. If you swear at another person as a way to insult, disparage or bully them, you'll definitely get a slap on the wrist, if not a temporary ban from chat... we call that abusive behavior, and that sugar-honey-iced-tea don't fly. If you use a derogatory slur regardless of context, there's a very high chance you'll get a permanent suspension from the game for violating the zero tolerance policy regarding hate speech. Suggestive and lewd comments do tend to be policed a bit harder, but it's pretty clear that the comments by our lord and savior RedText were made purely for humor. Yeah, there are sexual connotations and innuendos, but they are not actually targeting anyone. If you tried making similar comments about a real person, you'd probably get ejected from chat real fast. And no, before someone says 'well saying that thing about Nezha doesn't actually target anyone' I'll stop you right there; that phrase was spammed so hard and so frequently that it was added to the kickbot's nuke-on sight list. The last thing the chat needs is a constant stream of spammed comments like that. On the next page is the Warframe chat rules, if you want to review them (which RedText did not actually violate). The following are the rules for the in-game chat, and are what moderators will act upon if it's spotted or reported: Baiting others to trigger Kickbot Tricking players into sending messages, words, or terms that are flagged by Kickbot, resulting in the player being kicked from chat Chat spamming Repeating messages with the same content continuously within a short time Repeated Recruiting in Region chat Remaining in Region chat after being directed to the Recruiting chat Repeated trading in Region chat Remaining in Region chat after being directed to the Trading chat Topics of overtly sexual nature Racism Racial slurs, pejoratives and stereotypes. Using alternate spelling or alluding to racial slurs through masked or reordered characters Bullying Continuously attacking other players Profanity Incessant swearing Using profanity to attack or in reference to another player Sexism and bigotry Attacking players for their sexual orientation or gender identity Using alternate spelling or alluding to slurs based on sexual orientation or gender identity through masked or reordered characters Religious and spiritual intolerance Attempting to trade fake or real items If something does not exist or cannot be traded, it is considered fraud This also covers (but is not limited to) external services, such as personal pictures, levelling services, and content of other games Developer bashing Insults, threats, and other violent, inappropriate, and non-constructive comments about Digital Extremes and its staff are not tolerated Sharing Personal Information This includes, but is not limited to, full birth name, home address, IP address, and phone numbers Spreading Misinformation Misleading other players about Digital Extreme's actions or intentions Repeating attempts to spread false information about a system, player, in-game function or reward after being corrected The closest rule that RedText might have violated is the 'Topics of overtly sexual nature', however the comments by RedText were not actually overt. As a result, the comments didn't actually violate any rules. Sort of like jokes targeted for adults that are sometimes added to kids shows... the kids won't understand it, but the adults watching it will have a good chuckle. Lastly, the Terms of Service Agreement is a set of rules specifying what we, the players, are allowed to do (or not allowed to do). Many of the regulations and terms in those documents do not apply to the developers... this is explained right at the start of the document: This is Digital Extremes Ltd.'s (...) Terms of Use (...) that governs your access to, and use of, the Warframe® Website located at www.warframe.com (...) and all officially associated websites and micro-sites (...), any game operated by Digital Extremes through this Website (...), and all features, functions software and services offered through this Website. The Website, the Game and the features, functions, software and services offered through this Website collectively constitute the "Use" or "Service." This Document applies to all customers, visitors, users of the Website and Game and its respective and related pages (...) The most important bit being 'that governs your access to...' at the start.
  21. If you link your accounts and set your Nintendo Switch account as your primary, then your PC account data will be overwritten. This means that gear you have on your PC account will be lost. If you want to play with your Nintendo Switch progress on PC without losing your PC account's data, you can make a fresh/new PC account (separate from your main PC account with Excalibur Prime) and use that to turn your Nintendo Switch account into a cross-save account. What this means is that you'll effectively have 2 accounts; one account will be your PC account with Excalibur Prime and your PC progress, and the other will be your cross-save account using your Nintendo Switch account's data.
  22. As far as I'm aware, account linking is an irreversible process. If you have linked your accounts and selected the wrong primary account, then the data on your other accounts may not be recoverable. You can try contacting support, but I do not think that your other accounts' data will be recoverable.
  23. People who do this are punished, usually with trade bans. However DE does not disclose the usernames/accounts that are issued suspensions out of respect for users' privacy (which is why naming & shaming is not allowed on the forums). This is also why things like forum warning points and suspensions are not visible to other users, only to the user who has said warnings and the moderation/forum staff team. That said, the moderation teams and DE's customer support representatives do rely on users' reports of rule violating and illicit behavior, so if you see it happen, make sure to report it through the proper channels. For something like that video, you should submit a support ticket to DE.
  24. If you purchased it with your cross-save enabled account on your console, I imagine it should be available on your cross-save account regardless of which platform you play on. You should reach out to DE Customer Support, as this may be a bug with cross-save. I'll also move this to the bug report subforum for cross-save.
  25. This is something you would need to reach out to DE Customer Support about. I don't think anyone on the forums can give you a definite answer on whether it's safe to use or not. That said, if a keyboard of mine was experiencing bouncing issues on keystrokes, I'd probably get a new keyboard. Preferably one with a working debounce circuit to prevent such issues, rather than rely on an applet to address faulty hardware.
