Selecting A Mission From The Map In Online Mode.

This is a strange one I've run across a number of times, but sometimes when I select a mission from the map, I'll get matched up with someone...then it'll send me on the wrong mission with that person. This also happens often enough in an established squad where the majority of people (2 with one abstaining or 3) choose mission A and one random person chooses mission B and everyone gets shipped off to mission B.

Yeah, it happened to me during the latest Potato alert(s), I clicked the Exterminate one but it sent me to the Defense one, one of the guys I was playing alongside with in the Defense mission also noted that he had clicked on the Exterminate alert mission too...

I thought i was crazy when that happened to me yesterday.. Yeah this is an annoying bug.

Hmmm, and I had another weird thing happen today. I was idling in the Pluto map (with no active mission selected), and some random person joined me and selected Venera on Venus and I ended up getting dumped into a defense mission. I could see this happening with friends joining my session, but how would a random stranger join me? Can't do it from chat, since the only options you get are Talk, Add Friend and Ignore.
