For the most part it'd probably act more as a separate inventory (to store resources away so you can use them later without accidentally using them beforehand), but it'd also be a pretty good solution for Argon Crystals since it'd stop or slow the decay. Not only that, but it defeats the challenge of having to go out and obtain some argon crystals everytime a new weapon comes out, instead of just having 200+ stored away in a stasis chamber.
