Kubrow Dna Degradation Question

So, does the DNA degradation of Kubrows continue even if I don't log in?  If it degrades all the way what happens?  Does the Kubrow die, or do I just have to give several doses of the Stabilizer?  Okay, so my main question is, If I don't get on for several days, will it kill my Kubrow?  If I know I won't be on I could put it in stasis, but what if I unexpectedly lose access to a computer for several weeks?  Will my Kubrow die because I cannot get on the game?  If so, DE may need to rethink this.

I know that.  I am saying what if I don't expect to be off for a while, but am for some reason?  what if I just suddenly cannot get access to the game for several weeks for some reason?  Does the Kubrow die if it's DNA degrades too much?
