Trouvo
check your most recent mods to see which type it is, the colors do not signify the breed
ArgonTheFox
Every aspect of a Kubrow is 100% random. Theres no way to tell anything using any other factor.
RoboDoge
Color is purely decided by almighty RNG.

Detheroc
Go to incubator, press X, at the bottom of the menu where you can apply DNA stabilizers and pet it, theres a button "learn about *your type* Kubrows". You get the info from there.

Unless you havent named it for some reason lol. I have a puppy right now and it clearly states the type right there

ReiganCross
Re-Log, sort your Mods by "Recent" and go to Sentinel Mods. The 2 most recent rare mods will be the mods that belong on your Kubrow. As a future reminder, you can do this from the moment you have an Egg in Incubating, don't need to wait for him to pop out of the bubble. Cineris
Simplest way to find out as soon as the Kubrow has hatched: Open incubator, on the right side are the things like interact with it and feed it and stuff....down below on the bottom is a field that goes like "learn about XXXX kubrows". There you always see infos about the kubrow you hatched. No need to go to the mods to find out what Kubrow you hatched...

You can see what type your Kubrow is, if you check which mods you got. Few seconds after you start hatching.

Anyways, I prefer to wait until it hatched....I don't like the new mod menu and try to avoid it as much as possible.
