Can We Have A Lower Resolution For Weaker Pcs/laptops?

My friend loves warframe but lagggs a bit even on 800x600. Can DE add 640x840? thats all then he will stop lagging.

I'm not sure that the UI will fit in that space.  

 

You could try programs like D3DOverrider to force a lower resolution but at that point he's probably limited by his processor speed.

If you played on 640x480, the UX will be uncomfortable as hell. If somehow your friend's laptop is lagging even on 800x600 and all settings set to the lowest, I'm afraid that his system is already way too outdated / not for 3d games : \ . You could force it like Lord_of_Lords said, but it's not really recommended.

if desperate change winblows desktop to lower res (make a custom resolution if need be) then just swap to borderless fullscreen, or use the custom screen res if it appears in warframe.

 

i made an 840x525 res which is its native res halved for my now nearly 9 year old gaming laptop and just used that.
