Moving Hangs The Game

Whenever I tried to move ( hold W )
The game will hang.

When I RELEASE the W key the game will continue as it is.
this problem doesn't occur with the arrow keys though.

Interesting. Could you have had something running in the background that was conflicting with the game?

 

Would it be possible to get you to upload a video of this issue?

If a video is not possible, could you please a provide us with a copy of your EE.log?

Is there any chance you have more than one language pack installed on your PC? You can check this by following these steps:

 

- Open the Windows Control Panel and select 'Clock, Language, and Region'

- Under 'Region and Language' select 'Change keyboards or other input methods'

- In the window that pops up, select 'Change keyboards'

 

This should show you a list of all the keyboard languages you have installed. What I suspect is happening is you are accidentally changing your language setting by pressing a specific combination in-game. I have been able to reproduce this on my end by holding CTRL+SPACEBAR and then trying to hold 'W' to move forward. 

 

If this is the case then you can simply change the key sequence to switch languages by selecting the 'Advanced Key Settings' tab. One of the default key combinations for switching the input language is 'Ctrl + Shift', which Warframe uses as Crouch and Sprint for its default keys.

If that doesn't work then you can try the following alternatives:

 

Disable / uninstall your keyboard's drivers and if possible try to run the game using stock drivers. There is a chance that something in your drivers is conflicting with the game's desire to use the 'WASD' keys.

 

If you have a spare keyboard, try using that instead of your current one.

Have you tried changing your VSync setting to off/on instead of auto? Because if I leave it on auto the game hangs a bit whenever I move.
