IAmTheWar Posted September 6, 2014 Share Posted September 6, 2014 For cross-platform to occur both versions of the game must be on the same update iteration. I don't know how ID@XBOX works, but Sony cerification process takes time since they have to find any bugs that might break the game and notify the developers. Devs have stated both consoles will be on the same iteration, but if ID@XBOX takes time with updates then the future of cross play probably won't be in the foreseeable future.
