RedVoidDragon Posted September 11, 2014 Share Posted September 11, 2014 Since 14.6.0 I've had at least 3 DS defense missions fail with the infested well in hand in vortecies, and the last time this happened I had just glanced at pod health and it was over 95% full (>30k) and a few seconds later the mission failed message popped up. drft240 Posted September 11, 2014 Share Posted September 11, 2014 Well, melee units can still damage you while in vortex. This has been the case for a long time, try standing in the vortex or melee attacking it with a short range weapon. You will take damage quickly and I would assume that if the vortex is close enough to the pod then the same would apply to it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
