Daily Trades Not Resetting?

Sorry to Mods if this is in the wrong section. Correct me if I'm wrong, but trades are reset when you re-log in (if you logged in before daily reset, and re-logging in after) or that's how I remember it being. Has this been changed or how it's always been?

The daily reset occurs at 8pm EDT, the effect should be obvious after you relog.

I don't believe you need to log in again.  As I understood it, the daily log in reward is the only thing you actually have to log out and back in for.  Trade allowance, revives and kubrow ageing all happen immediately (or maybe end of current mission). 

So, if you log in at 7pm EDT, run a few games until just after 8 and then spend all your trades, relogging will not do anything as you already got the reset at 8 while you were playing. 

I have certainly seen kubrow mature/degrade and revives come back without having to log out and back in.

I trade a lot, and often the issue with trades is that you are forced to re-log for them to either

-work

-both

I have 11 trade each day, after I used them (the trades I had before daily reset), I tried re-logging to get the current day's trades (as that's how I assumed the trade allowance works), but after re-logging I still had no trades, but I got the daily reward. So I had to wait for another reset to be able to trade for the rest of the things I would have gotten the day before.
