Amprex: How Do You Do It?

The DPS on my Amprex is extremely wonky (In a bad way.)

 

Not often I come looking for help, but I like Amprex, and need a little help boosting it's potential.

forma 4 V polarities + 1/2 - polarities

 

serration, point strike, split chamber, vital sense as base mods

 

+ metal auger/rifle ammo mutation/critical delay(not recomended really but if you have not any other...) by your needs

 

fill up with

+ heavy caliber and any elemental damage mods if you have 2 - polarities (damage build -> http://goo.gl/G8IfNn)

or + the events elemental/status damage mods if you have only one - polarity (status build -> http://goo.gl/fQlFBz)

PS: i shouldn't add speed trigger without rifle ammo mutation or loads of team ammo restores, because amprex eat ammos like pacman on roids

Do you want a good mod loadout for it? Are you looking for pure DPS or a status machine? The Amprex is an amazing weapon, but it does take getting used to.

Start by pumpin 4-5 forma into it.

one is a damage build, so that one.

the other one is for mass cc, makes less damage but procs a lot of status on a lot of enemies when packed in crowds
