SilentCircle Posted November 13, 2014 Share Posted November 13, 2014 (edited) Mastering usually means preparing multiple tracks for an album. ie. make sure they sound the same (levels, stereo field, frequency distribution) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audio_mastering#Process Edit: I was just asking because mastering is really hard to do without really expensive studio gear.
