Could Energy/shield Leechers Have A "tether" On Us When In Range?

I hate these things.

 

They have a fairly large range, are fairly small compared to the other Osprey variants, and have an annoying tendency to show up and get stuck underneath some stairs or flying face first into a wall in some random corner of the room while I (and others affected by the drain) desperately search for it before the next wave of Corpus come to decimate us.

 

Now I don't think there is a particular issue with it's draining power (in fact it is quite tame all things considered), except for the fact that we have no way of knowing where exactly it is. 

 

My suggestion for this would be to have it attach a "Tether" to us that lets us trace it back to where it actually is, which in my opinion won't diminish the threat or make the unit useless (such as if the draining effect were to be reduced.)
