Damage Or Status For The Hek?

Which build would work better?

Whenever I used to run a hek I'd keep the damage maxxed out on it and rely on either my melee or secondary if things really started getting heated and I needed to start proccing everything. 

 

But, some of my friends do status builds. It's personal preference as far as I'm concerned.

Don't listen to these guys, go with status! With 2 of the dual stat mods and 2 multishot mods, you can get up to 100% Status chance. And if you want to use this weapon you should seriously have scattered justice.

Why not both ? :D

Put some event mod (if you can) and ton of damage/multishot and boooom you have both of them.
