-AM-Akimuro
First of all, I'm new to Warframes. So, I'm a newbie. Now for the topic.First is the UPnP Malfunction. I know everyone has a problems with UPnP & DNS. But this is my problem.I don't get it at all. I'm still getting UPnP Malfunction Message after log-in. But my router/modem is functioning properly.I did configure UPnP with Port Forwarding provide by the game ports and my LAN IP Address. All are functioning properly. Again, I still have UPnP Malfunction. Don't know much how the game works but i still keep playing. Plus, I can't invite some of the players and same scenario for them as well...Please enlighten me and help me to fix it. I have good connections. My ISP is PLDT myDSL.About the DNS. Well, DNS Look up Failed. Well, I don't know how to fix this on my laptop. Any IT that would help my problem. I would appreciate it.
xethier
change your DNS servers 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4 (google's dns) 4.2.2.1 & 4.2.2.2 (level3's dns) as for upnp... you're kinda on your own there, some routers just don't work properly. either due to crap firmware or ISP sabotage. edit: (on changing DNS) open the network sharing center click on your local connection. (or whatever it is you're using, wifi most likely) click properties once you're at the status window for your connection method. click on: internet protocol version 4 (tcp/ipv4) click properties. bottom window, change to "use the following DNS server addresses" and plug in any two of the dns IP addresses i listed above. second edit: you should probably reboot after making those changes. if it happens again, open a console and type: ipconfig /flushdns Edited December 4, 2014 by xethier
