Syndicate Ranking Up And Deranking

So, because im to scared to test it out, im gonna ask you peoples. Someone told me if you rank up in a syndicate (Eg, Red Veil) You de rank in the opposing syndicates. For example, you rank up in red veil, but de rank in Arbiters and cephalon. Is that true?

yes each syndicate has 1 ally, and 2 enemies, choose wisely because if you choose something you don't want it's a bit harder to regain the rep u want with another syndicate.

Hm.. i have a question about similar issue. So, for example, i've maxed Arbitres and then switch to Veil. So if i'll go back to arbitres, do i need pay rank up donations anew or just earn rep?

To add to this, if you rank up a syndicate that is unaffiliated with another syndicate but the ally is opposed or an enemy to said syndicate, you will not lose points. For this reason, you can rank up Suda-Arbiters-Steel Meridian and get red veil in the process without suffering penalties to arbiters.
