Mastery Rank Not Updating

I am using weapons without classification and i am almost not leveling one single number on my Mastery Rank at all. I am currently using a Strun (again) trying to level up, the weapon level up normally but my mastery rank is like almost dead on water, yesterday i was around 5.000, today i keep around 3.079 in Mastery Rank 7 and he just seems to stay there, although when i use my Odonata he level my mastery rank! In fact most of these 5.000 to 3.079 was all about Odonata than ground weapons!

 

Answer me this: does the weapons I have used earlier do not give me aLevel Up when i am using them a second time?

If you have ranked it to 30 once already and used a forma or re-built you will no longer gain mastery from leveling it up.

new weapons and other new things equal mastery rank...old stuff no matter how many times you rank it will not add to mastery rank

Mastery rank is only derived from ranking up entirely different weapons.

 

To put it more into perspective, go to your profile in game, and note that it lists all warframes and weapons used and their max level you have achieved with them. Nothing changes once you reach level 30 on a frame or weapon, and mastery rank is determined by all of those weapons and frames put together (3000 mastery for weapons, 6000 mastery for frames/archwings/kubrows).
