Renegade343
Hello all, Would it be desirable to tweak both the Pangolin Sword and the Jaw Sword to be Puncture-focused (i.e.: Swapping their values of Puncture and Slash damage to make them have Puncture as the highest damage)? The reason for this is the fact that the design of the Jaw Sword and the Pangolin Sword is more suited for thrusting, since their edges make it slightly difficult to slash effectively (for the Jaw Sword) and has a more solid tip (for both the Jaw Sword and the Pangolin Sword), meaning it would be a bit more suited to pierce through some armour. In game terms, this would allow the melee weapons to have more Puncture-based weapons, as well as making Longswords be more diverse, given that it has the most weapons in its category out of all the other melee weapon types. Please discuss civilly in this thread. Renegade343
Rorgal_Sina
Thrusting ay? Hm.. I use Crimson Dervish on my Jaw Sword... :/ However, considering that, should all puncture swords use Iron Phoenix? (It has stabby stabs.) Better buff Iron Phoenix too... :/
pokeyoface
Sounds good to me
Riot_Inducer
Dunno about the pangolin sword but the Jaw sword really needs to be switched back to puncture. I mean it was literally the selling point of the sword before it got changed in melee 2.0.
Yazeth
I predict that the two would still not receive the same respect as the Dakra Prime, but I accept this idea. We definitely need more Puncture weapons. +1 I guess. :)
Sniperoth
But by the looks of the Jaw Sword, you'd expect it to get stuck instead of puncturing something.. I mean, just look at its split tip and jagged edges! +1 on the idea of having puncture-based swords though
