Basic Gene-Masking Kit Purchase Fail?

For thee last few days, I've been having issues getting the gene-masking kit for the kubrows that costs 100,000 credits; no matter what I do, I just can't buy it. I keep getting a message saying "Purchase failed. Your account has not been charged. Please try again. (Unknown error)". Does anyone know why this is happening and/or how to fix it? It's getting irritating, as I just don't seem to be having much luck with the kubrows at all...

I've read and heard of a number of other users having this problem, so chances are it's a bug in the game and will hopefully be fixed within a few days.
