Good Build For Nova (Prime)?

I didn't feel like waiting for Soma Prime, so $80 later, I have this access pack, but I'm left wondering "what is good build for Nova Prime?" I haven't used normal Nova at all, so I don't know what mods are good to use, I've heard of 'slow and speed' nova builds, I want as much damage as possible (so slow, right?) but also, should I use defense mods (if any?) or focus solely on power?

Slow Nova: Intensify,Redirection,Constitution,Fleeting Expertise,Contituity or Primed Contituity,Vitality,Stretch,Flow.

Fast-Negative Nova: Constitution,Redirection,Streamline,Vitality,Contituity or Primed Contituity,Overextended,Flow,Stretch.
