Hello community, I thought of a interesting method of weaponry. When ever you get a weapon to lvl 30 then forma, shouldn't there be a appearance upgrade for that weapon? The more forma, the more your weapon evolves and more powerful it gets.

That's been discussed before but DE isn't sure about it. Mostly because it A: more than doubles the work and B: what if someone prefers the original look?

I would like if mods showed somehow. Like adding speed trigger will make a circle sora like the dex furis has and spins as it fires, or increasing magazine capacity show an larger mag. The simple things will keep me happy.

Why not just add removable animated emblem decals to show how many formas it has.

 

Like the stratos emblem that evolves depending on the number of tactical alerts you've completed.

 

If you're the humble type then you can turn it off.

 

If you're all for swag and glory then show it to the world to soothe your raging ego.

 

For me I just want to know how many formas my teamates weapon has so i know what exactly i'm dealing with here, but adding the option to see how many formas are in a weapon can also be done without all the fancy visuals like in the UI.

 

Seeing their mod set-up would also be nice.

That much sort of used to be the case in the long-long ago days of the closed beta. Mods showed as glowing disks.
